in the books of future TES titles?

The name will probbably be lost to the records and he/she will always be called the Last Dragonborn

1. Why would it be lost? The Hero of Morrowind is named Nerevarine even though you get to name him and change his appearance.
2. Why would you be the last Dragonborn? You're not the last.

In the ancient Akaviri prophecy "Upon Alduin's return, the weel turns to The Last Dragonborn"

edit: and because of the nr.1 Dragonborn will not have a name lore-wise just like that... "Lost to the records" was just a metaphorical statement

Like many people in TES say, a prophecy is what may be, not what will be.

and didnt even Miraak and Herma mora refer to the PC as "The Last dragonborn" too?

Actually, he/she was always known and referred to as 'THE' Nerevarine. ie: 'Nerevar reborn'. It was a title, not a name.


Hmmmm...so sure are you? It's apparently been centuries since the previous Dragonborn, who's to say when the next one might arise? A hundred years later? A thousand?

1. I guess I read it wrong.
2. None of the TES games out or announced are after the events of Skyrim.
