We know there is going to be something of a dynamic combo system. If you use both hands at the same time, you will get a special effect depending on what you are carrying in each hand. So, I'd like to speculate for a few minutes on what some ideas might be for the effects. Obviously we don't know, I'm just playing around here.

1. What happens when you use a fire spell and a heal spell at the same time?


2. What happens when you use a shield spell and a sword at the same time?


3. When you use a heal spell and a shield at the same time?
Maybe this is an example of "nothing special." Maybe you just block and heal?

4. A shield and a weapon?
Block then parry?

5. Two shields.
I have this hysterical image in my mind of bashing the two shields together like a monkey with cymbals.


Do you think enchantments will have anything to do with it? For instance, a sword with a particular enchantment coupled with a spell, could those combine? Do you think, in this game, we can now "shoot a fireball from a sword" like M'aiq told us we couldn't? That would be nice.

Thoughts? Am I out of line here, maybe only spell effects are mixed and everything else is just one, then the other?

The game crash.

You repair the shield.

You'll get a nasty cut in your shield.

5. Two shields.
You'll shield your second shield.

1.Makes fire spells directed at you actually heal you for a short time?

2.Gives the sword a shield so a power attack doesnt stagger you if they block it?

3.Yeah this probably will just be basic 'heal' whilst blocking

Would be awesome to be able to enchant weapons with spells, like frost swords freeze wherever stab them then we bash them with the shield to take a huge chunk out of them and they bleed to death ^_^

I dont know if combinations will be THIS complex but it would be awesome!

I don't think you can combine melee attacks, so to say. Only magic attacks would fit this *ugh* protocol... But, yeah, I'm kind of curious myself on how a healing spell will combine with a destruction spell. Guess we'll have to wait then.

I don't think they will, both hands will probably work separately with a few minor exceptions to avoid clipping.(Such as slashing two axes at the same time)

One hand fires a fireball and the other hand casts a healing spell.

2. What happens when you use a shield spell and a sword at the same time?
One hand casts a shield spell and your sword slashes at something.


3. When you use a heal spell and a shield at the same time?
You block with your shield and your other hand casts a healing spell.

4. A shield and a weapon?
You block and then attack.

5. Two shields.
You block with both hands and with luck perform a shield bash with either shield.
