I did every outcome: NCR, Primm slim, and Meyers. Primm slimm i don't think is suitable to run as a sheriff. Meyers is more along the lines of a Real sherrif and has nice old rules of how to govern it. NCR has a squad of troops to protect it even though they have to live under NCR rules.

I think that the NCR or Meyers would be the best choice.

The solution depends on your allegiance, but I think the most neutral option is to choose the robot.

Nobody, that way Legion takes over Primm more safely.

Yah not really all the soldiers do is look over the City and in one scenario they are all wiped out by Ceasers legion.

If I had my way (beyond the scope of what the game allows) I would have Meyers as sheriff with Slimm as Deputy. I'd convince Meyers that Slimm would be an excellent compliment to the Law in Primm as he never sleeps and can be upgraded further should the need arise (between Ronnie and 6 Slimm can be made into ED-209, only with out the homicidal glitches.)

In a time of war NCR is the best bet.

In time of peace Myers would work out.

I think Meyers is the best for the overall happiness of Primm. If you put NCR in power, Primm residents will often [censored] about the new taxes and regulations, and justice really isn't a black-and-white (or 1 and 0) decision to be left to a robot. Plus, you'll notice that the people of Primm like Meyers, they say that though he's a hard man, he's fair.

Granted, when the Legion is still a constant threat, the NCR may be better. But if Primm becomes NCR land they'll stay as such forever and that's not necessarily good for them.

Obviously somebody has never tried to kill Primm Slimm.

Enclave should start their new home there....

Primm slimm has the highest hp of anything in the game funnily enough .

Only if the NCR wins. In every other scenario they flee and abandon the locals to face the music alone. With Meyers they do well in every scenario but a Legion win....in which case Meyers convinces them to fight the Legion with him to the last man....the Legion doesn't even get the satisfaction of crucifying and enslaving any of them. As I have the achievement for a Legion win I'll never do another Legion run so installing Meyers is one of my early goals.

I usually go with Primm Slim as he's right there after I bail out Beagle, however from what I've seen in the endings I would have to say that overall Meyers is probably a better choice. It is noted in at lest one of the Meyers slides for Primm that he occasionally dispenses 'frontier justice' on occasion, which I don't care for; whether or not that's a bad thing given the circumstances is debatable given the rough nature of the area and the constant (unless you sack V19) raids from Powder Gangers.

People are essentially idiots though. More often than not to try to explain anything to the typical LCD citizen is pointless, if i may paraphrase Bill Maher here, trying to explain the necessity of taxes and how in practice those taxes translate into a tangable benefit for the citizen who pays them is like trying to explain to your dog why your going to the vet. In the end just open the car door and jangle the leash, so it really does not matter who you put in charge just so long as you do. I put the NCR in charge this time and they do complain about NCR taxes, idiots, they were complaining about the powder gangers earlier and the PGs actually took over the town. In the end people are morons, in high school the equal would be the special education kids or as i like to refer to them, the football team. Where as i am the Courier, the president of the AV club, advanced placement, so i will content myself to jangle the leash to save myself some time and do what i think is best. My feeling is if you do not like the choice i make to bad this problem could have been handled by any of the "concerned" citizens of Primm, instead they choose to cower in the casino and hope some one would solve thier problem. Jangle, jangle, jangle, you get the NCR this time so shut up and get in the car. LOLZ

Meyers is a psycho with a badge, killing just about anyone who annoys him and gets in his way. The fact that NCR, of all people, arrests him for overstepping his bounds (you know - the people who kill you if you steal a tablespoon of salt) tells me that he's totally off his rocker.

NCR can't be trusted and will milk the town dry.

Primm is a Protectron, true, but you reprogram him to be better and let's face it - humans aren't exactly durable top begin with. He also has the advantage of being tireless and durable.
