what do you use safehoueses for?

Post » Wed Oct 21, 2009 12:36 pm

safehoueses are new to the fallout universe, apparently you receive them based on rep & they are simply mini houses, people like me use them as caches for weapons so you dont have to head to the lucky 38 or novac for gear you need...what do you use them for?

I think those are LAIZ! Stuff dont replenish in safehouses

anyway, I usually use safehouses to put some unique stuff that I never use in the footlockers. Maybe I'm going to make a museum out of one someday and make a video of it. I just tried displaying some guns in the NoVac motel and it's actually not even that difficult (laying them down and stuff)

Yeahhhh.... NO. You take something from a safehouse... It's gone. (with the exception of food. maybe some ammo?)

Yup

Are you running some crazy mods or just imagining things? Because that doesn't happen in the normal game. You can't remove weapon attachments either, unlike you claim in the other thread.

heres a example of one of my safehouses
NCR safehouse:
3x hunting shotguns
5x snipers rifles
18x C-4 bricks + 2 detonaters
3x anti material rifles
10x assault carbines
2x missile launchers
8x grenade launchers
2x trail carbines
and a ammo table
i use safehoueses as caches for emergencies (might make a topic about good cache locations)

Unfortunatly, the Safehouses hold absolutly no loot for me. Not sure why. But the only safehouse I bother using is the legion one because Stealth Boys are impossible to get without the dude there.

Other than that, I usually drop all of my beer in them.

You're likely playing the very base game, IE, Prior to patches. After the firt or second patch, items were included in safehouses.

I use the Followers' one to stock up on food. If their representative is there when you are, the fridge refills every time you enter/exit it. The BoS guy has a decent repair skill, though that's not needed now after Dead Money.

I use Legion's to get me Stealthboys, other than that I haven't really used any safehouses or the Lucky 38.
I mostly used Novac motel room prior to Dead Money's release, now I use the abandoned BOS bunker.

To be fair, with the Jury Rigging perk, repair NPCs aren't needed, dead money or no.

Tesla Cannon. After killing the Brotherhood and the Silver Rush folks, I haven't been able to find a single one.
