They'd be too similar... but it'll never happen, so whatevs.

I think that the game assumes that someone else did each of those questlines - The scrolls just say Someone did all that, not who, and not even neccessarily the same person. Heck, from a Lore standpoint, the person who killed Mankar Camoran may not have been the same person to bring Jauffre the amulet, nor the same person to escort Martin to The Temple of the One. There's a reason the main character of Oblivion is never directly acknowledged in written sources.

Hmm so are you saying that the CoC doesnt necessarily =Sheogorath or Divine Crusader? I know different people were suppose to have done the different quest lines for the guilds but that means at least one of of them (or even someone who is head of multiple guilds) also became 1-3 of the epic things which i found pretty corny.

Also, not that it matters really but Jearl's Orders does acknowledge the main character if just in the CoC sense.

I like to believe that the CoC did become Sheogorath, because that's a way to conveniently write that character out of the world.

Red Year probably. It reminds me of the Taris section of Star Wars KotOR, only far more developed and immersive. And then we find out it wasn't Landfall. I mean, it's like punching the fanbase in the stomach.

Or Raven Rock going under. Or Svenja Snow-Song getting eaten. I wasn't particularly fond of those either.

Edit: Come Skyrim, I'll probably say "whatever happened to the Knights of the Nine," since I figure the Thalmor or the Mede Dynasty will have probably disbanded/destroyed them.

Good comparison, It really bugged me that done all that good onTaris and it was just...gone. Well if the series visits Morrowind again I guess there win't be any duplication needed.

I agree with raven Rock going under and Svenja being eaten. Can't anything you save just stay saved for awhile.

- The combination of the Aedra-churches into one singular "imperial cult".
- Sithis as an interactive deity rather than a principle.
- The Dark Brotherhood being a bunch of sanguinary religious muppets rather than a business-like assassins-guild.
- Mannimarco's unworthy demise

The horrible events that took Morrowind with the Dunmer. Argonians could never do that.

Pretty much a whole bunch of stuff given or implied in Oblivion; many of them mention already by other players in this thread.

What could be the single most changing event in history? Well what if that includes Mythologies that ARE history? I say erase Lorkhan tricking the gods into making Nirn or Anu and Padomay from interacting. Hah! Game over.

Seriously though? All the heroes 'disappearing' after they shook the world. Or the Red Year. Or Talos being erased from the Mythic. Or the Tribunals Betrayal of Nerevar Indoril. Or Saint Allesia's doctrines. Or...damn there are a lot.

"I am Cyrodiil come"? :D C'mon, the line wins. Anyway, the whole Remanada is creepy.

What would I likes to see erased? Mannimarco's face in Oblivion. That's no necromancer look.

That wasn't the King of Worms, so it actually fits somewhat.

The new books that have come out. Honestly, I absolutely hated the Argonian invasion of Morrowind and how they handled the situation in Morrowind. The Red Year was inevitable, but the books were just too much, :yuck:

Amen. The destruction of Morrowind was inevitable, but the Argonian invasion is what made me decide to pass on the books. I know the books are techically considered cannon, but I'm perfectly content to completely ignore they're existence.

Things to erase from lore... hm... Oblivion's design of Cyrodiil.

I would have liked a better more unique world than Oblivions Cyrodiil.
This mainly.

The sudden hatred of necromancy in the mages guild.

The Levitation Act of 421

The hatred of necromancy was sudden but the quest line was good so I will keep that.

The Levitation Act is just a terrible idea...

As others have said, the sudden, inexplicable teleporatation of Cyrodil into Middle-Earth easily takes the cake. They took one look at the lore, and were like "Hey, that Lord of the Rings stuff, that was pretty popular, right? What if we, like, made it like that, instead? I mean that way we could probably trick LOTR fans into buying it and make way more money!"

I wouldn't erase a thing. I never got why people only talk about the things they don't like, I had to part from the Star Wars community for that. I mean, it's there, it happened. Why not just think about the things you liked about it? Guess everybody is a critic these days, though. Ah well..... :tes:

Cyrodiil how it was showed in TES4
I simply hated how it was turned from crazy rainforest into boring landscape with few trees
There were no forests at all, only places where there was more and places where there was less trees :(

I don't get why people don't want argonians to invade Morrowind? If my people hade been treated like [censored] for the past three eras by some stuck-up elves with their so-called gods, but then their homeland suddenly erupted, I would attack in the blink of an eye.

Because it doesn't make sense. Every time and Argonian army has gathered in TES History they've been utterly and completely curshed. It makes no sense for an army of Argonians to all of a sudden steam roll the Dunmer. Just doesn't make sense.

Nothing much really. How the Crimson Scars were handled in lore. They would of kicked so much ass if they weren't killed in their sleep by a bunch of dark zealots.
