What Do You Want From Power Armor in the Next Installment?

If you have played fallout the chances are you've at least once wore some power armor. Now assuming that the game does take place in the Commonwealth (Massachusetts) and the center of the game will be The Institute (MIT) then we are set to see a vast upheaval the in tech we've seen from The Capital Wasteland and Mojave Desert. With this in mind what would you like to see from Power armor in the next game and even future installments?

I for one would like to see some type of HUD just to add to the effect that are actually wearing some type of electrical armor. I don't want to see anything Starkish but just seeing maybe something like a Local Radar, a health bar and the Body/Limb view system that is available on the pip Boy.

I would also like to see different variations of the armor which were available in past installments with different sub factions of the enclave and other groups. But since the tech is scheduled to bump up in this version how about we see different armors have different functions. One for heavy weapons that could have weapons built in and one for stealth that isn't detectable by enemies and can feature night vision or echolocation (daredevil vision) settings.
What do you guys think? And what do you want?

Power armor armor hud could be nice or annoying, it depends on the execution obviously.

I'm one of those players who likes gameplay versatility so I hope power armor will not be the single best armor class in the game. Light and Medium armor should have benefits too. I think New Vegas with J. Sawyer shows the way to go when it comes to balance.

If they include MIT or a similar technologically advanced faction, the possibilities are indeed endless (your examples would be feasible). But with this great power comes great responsibility. I hope the Institute isn't simply Enclave or Big MT with EVEN BETTER AND MORE ADVANCED super weapons and armor. Maybe they failed in their research, like Big MT did? Or maybe they focused so much on robotics and stuff, that the rest fell flat? Evil superscientists with extreme combat technology are very boring in my opinion.

Stealth one sounds nice. Would give stealth users more options besides light armor (which should still be the best way to go). The medic armor could be extended on too. Some speculated on PA that would he enterable objects in the world space like tanks, not items in your inventory. Power armor being specifically useful for certain weapons is nice too. Perhaps one that generates an impulse absorbing shield?

Lastly, power armor training should be removed or exchanged for something like Sawyer's version (which made PA increase carry weight with Training, but you could use it also without).

I agree with you that they should be careful how they approach the man - scientists in the game. Don't want it to be repetitive. But it would be cool to see how they could take tech we've already seen and improve it. For example they could give you an upgraded pip boy which would allow you to control your empty power armor even when not equipped (nothing crazy just setting targeting parameters).

The most outrageous they could be is during armor related side quests for example there is a power armor that only runs off of radiation and there is a faction of armored ghouls that you run into or something like that.

How about having Power Armour actually being powerful again like it is in the original Fallouts. Could also have it be rare again like it was in the originals.

The thing about power armour is that it's, in-lore, a beastly tool. Yet it's a HORRIBLE gameplay item unless it's unlocked at the end of the game. Otherwise, to match it ingame with its lore, you'll spend level 5+ curbstomping everything without the slightest damage. It's a sacrifice of lore vs balanced gameplay. I KNOW power armour is a beast, but I don't want to play the game wearing it and virtually be a god. It's why the latter half of Fallout 2 was so boring for me. It got dull as sin being undentable.

Why not have it that way? Why not ensure that by the design of the game?

Spoiler
Just have a bigger land, with major plot locations farther between, and pull no punches with the player's PC. Let them get power armor when they are strong enough to take it; or capable enough to earn it ~if that's to be an opyion.

To the topic... I would like to see Power Armor treated as it was in 'Chronicles of Riddike' games. Miniguns too; although honestly I'd want miniguns to require wearing power armor to use them in combat; but PC/NPC's with 9 or 10 could use them. Actually the Riddike games treated miniguns really good too; Riddike could use them, but could bot run or climb while doing so, and could not store a minigun in his pockets, or slung over his shoulder. It was caryy or set down... Same thing with the power armor, it was wear it or leave be.
