I put "no" for the figurines lol - I'm not into trinkets, so the letter opener would be out too. I really want an art book and a "making of" DVD though.

I would consider buying a digital special edition through Steam if it includes the soundtrack mp3's and some cool unique in game items, but not interested in any physical goods.

Dwemer flavoured USB key.

What do Dwemer taste like? Can't say I've had the pleasure.

A Cloth Map of complete Tamriel would be awesome (if done really well, should look like it would be right out of the game).
I would like to have a lot of physical stuff. Don't need some digital stuff, that's the game for...

The thing I want in the collectors edition the most is the game.

The second thing I want in the CE is a cloth map.
The third thing I want in the CE is the letter opener (I don't have one!)

The thing I don't want in the CE are in game items. These always feel cheap.

I want the soundtrack on a CD. What is with this memory stick garbage? Soundtracks should come with nice artwork and a proper case, with titles and composer's notes.

And a real orchestra playing them! =P

Add in a cloth map of Skyrim and this would be a perfect collector's edition for me

1. Cloth Map
2. Figurine

Don't Want. Soundtrack.
The songs will likely all be extractable from the game.

I have 0 interest ingame bonuses for pre-ordering a game or buying the Collector's Edition. They're worthless, and the game is probably easy enough already without them.

I'd go for the artwork book: i'm always really interested into concept art.

Cloth map would be nice too :)

A metal figurine would be my first choice, followed by an art book. But a map would be great too. And I do like the letter opener idea, but I'd rather it took the form of a daedric or nordic claymore myself. And it would be akin to Bethesda arming their fanbase with melee weapons... possibly not a bad idea...

I just hope whatever kind of collector's edition they release comes in a huge cardboard (or metal!) box like my old tabletop wargames.

That map of Skyrim that Todd shows-off in the GI article is to die for... I would pay hanfsomly for such a map!

Of the Fo3 and FNV collectors editions, nothing can beat the Vault Boy bobblehead IMHO, a nice figurine would rock.

Free DLC that's already on the disk! That's all I want out of the collecters edition. I don't have live and I hate that even if you buy DLC on live it won't work unless you're connected. WTF? Why did I save it to my damn harddrive if I need to be connected to the net? I took my 360 to my buddies house and bought like $30 worth of stuff on his connection, hung out and played the game for a few days...then when I went home I couldn't play anymore cause the "information in your save file is missing"!

1) Book of artwork
2) Cloth map
3) Exclusive ingame items. I hate those unnecessary cheat items with a passion.

What I don't want:
- 'Making Of'-DVD, unless the content is actually significant. The one's I've seen so far are usually short, pointless, and in some cases the exact same thing as the Developer Diaries released prior to the game.
- Something silly, like a set of cards that showcases some of the game's important characters. I can't fathom who at Ubisoft thought including something like this in the CE of AC: Brotherhood was a good idea.

What I might want:
- If the soundtrack is included, it should be included on an actual CD, not a memory stick.
- A figure could be nice, if Skyrim has anything as iconic as, for instance, Morrowind's Ordinators. A replica of a sword could potentially be awesome, as well.
- I'm usually against exclusive content, but if it's something worthwhile, I'm all for it. No major quests, but perhaps a small quest to find a special suit of Armor would be cool.

What I DO want:
- An artbook is a must. If Bethesda keeps it similar, quality-wise, to the art book that came with Fallout 3, that should be amazing.
- A map of Skyrim will probably be included anyway, but a cloth version might be nice, if it looks good.
- A tin case is pretty much a given.
- Some in-universe literature, akin to the "Pocket Guide to the Empire". "A Brief History of Tamriel" or something.
- A huge poster of Alduin's Wall would be awesome.

That might be illegal to give out with the game. I mean it is a weapon.
