What do you want to see in Far Harbor?

Post » Fri Feb 26, 2016 5:22 pm

Obviously we all want loads of quests, and new places to explore, but what else do you want to see and more importantly suggest to Bethesda!

I want new settlement areas and Far Harbor themed options for it. Given that one of the new factions of our new island is synth, I thought that it'd be cool if we could have synth settlers.

The colour green. If you look at Chernobyl you'll see that nature has adapted to radiation. So some more green would fit in with the science and the island that Far Harbor is based on http://www.barharborinfo.com.

I'd like a customisable boat to live on. Obviously we'll be surrounded by water and we could possibly get around on it, even if it is a cool auto pilot.

Going with the whole water theme a Navy themed version of Power Armour would be cool. Not just colour, I'm talking about newly designed Power Armour!

Oh and I want a bloody big ghoul whale lol.

What about your all?

Definitely want a boat, too much water in Boston and Far Harbor not to have one. Maybe sail around with Captain Ironsides and the USS Constitution fighting ghoul pirates.

I hope Bethesda gets the creepy Lovecraft old New England town vibe right. Also ominous thunderstorms, which form the cover art it looks like there will be.

From What I see in Far Harbor's picture I'd like to see Bethesda Game Studios finally give the Player Characters (PC's) the ability to sail boats and ships on the ocean water.

I'd like to see a naval combat mechanic also implemented and the ability to sink the boats and the ships.

From Far Harbor's picture you can see a fishing boat with a person on it sailing it when the tide is up and then crashed when the tide is low and a dock as well can be seen in both of Far Harbor's pictures.

I want to see Radmoose and RadLobster.

In fact I'm dissapointed there are Radscorpions in New England instead of RadLobster and Radclams.

I could hope to see Radmoose and Radsquirrel but I think they are saving them for Fallout Minnesota.

Aquatic life that's a threat would be a nice start.

Wouldn't RadLobsters just be Mirelurk Hunters? We already have those :P

RadMoose would be intimidating as [censored] . I am definitely behind the idea of having more green, not everything should always be a blasted wasteland. I quite enjoyed Point Lookout for that reason ... it was different. Admittedly it was less green and more swamp, but it was a cool change of scenery. Same with the Dragonborn change from Snowy Tundra to blasted ash wastes. Bethesda do seem to like to change it up for the DLC so hopefully we get something quite different for Far Harbour

I dunno, Mirelurks look like Crabs to me, not Lobsters.

The normal ones are crabs, yes. Mirelurk Hunters are definitey Lobsters. No idea what the Kings are meant to be though!

I feel like Mirelurk Kings are a cross between a gecko and a sail-fin lizard

I heard that higher levels of radiation are said to be in Far Harbor.

It would be cool if the difficulty of the area would be higher than that of the glowing sea.

At least partly, because I'm level 119 and really need a challenge (and a girlfriend).
