what do you want to see replaced?

Not gonna say thing people haven't already, but...

Sweet raptor Jesus, replace that damned beast race waddle! There have been animators out there taking a crack at the animations but so far all of them have been for the default human walk. Which, imo, didn't really need replacing. Everyone complains about the beast walk and yet no one has fixed it. What the hell.

We also need new Khajiit head meshes and beast feet that are BB compatible (no gaps at the ankle plz) and don't look like blocks of clay/aren't taken from the Wolven mod. (No, I, in fact, do not like LizTail's beast replacement...)

agreed, plus new 1st person animations, combat would look so much better than: "stabstabstabstabstabsflashflashflash" if the animations were a bit slower, so you lunged and pulled back and get ready for the next attack not... flick the sword forwards really fast and bring it back faster than lucky luke.

Vivec Canton Meshes, they have always had issues with lighting in their corners due to low poly counts, and stretched vertices, replace those with some slightly higher poly counts(in the corners at least) and you will have my thanks, and quite possibly a cookie!

I actually really like it  . I think it's one of the few things that doesn't need replacing.

I can't believe no one has mentioned monster meshes yet. Compared to all the new shiny body models we have monsters are starting to look like they're made of lego. Take, for example the nix hound, or the hunger. They're crying out for more polys.

i think i'll give the boats a swing when i get a chance, right now i'm a little busy with RE, and some of my own mods. but i got one near the wrap up stage. and then can go model and texture crazy after that.

Awesome! I'll be looking forward to seeing this.

EDIT: I thought I remembered seeing an intro movie replacer. It came with a Tribunal-themed start menu.

Of course it's normal, I wanna redo ALLLLL Vvanderfell, but I'm afraid it would be too big task for me alone. I mean, they call Red Mountain a mountain... It ain't no mountain if you don't need to use all 3 scrolls of icarian flight!

hmm, perhaps there could be a way:
give each person a region (exterior makers)
then they remake the whole exterior re-adding all the places\landmasses\cities\dungeons. it'd take a few weeks to do every place, and it'd take some time to make sure all the landmarks are still ingame. but it'd be pretty fast that way, especially if everyone worked as fast as lestat :P

physicked hair. Physiqued? You know, it moves with your character. There was a demo up a few months or a year ago, not sure where it is now.

Another vote for more animations, perhaps building off of Dirnae's set?

I'd love to see that "real interiors environment" thing completed. (sorry, forgot exact name of thread. It's the thing where lighting conditions, etc. of the outside world affect (in real-time) the interior cells.)

Maybe someone can lend Wolvman a hand with Ravenous Hunger?

I contribute to the few above me in the opinion we need to get the monsters redone. The only mods I have seen for them are Hedgehog's and mesh wise half of them don't seem to look any different and the textures and esps all seem a bit overwhelming for me.

Of course, then you'd have to fill in all the gaps... you could just generate it like they http://www.imperial-library.info/sites/default/files/gallery_files/concept_morrowind.jpg for Morrowind :hehe:

What I do want to see replaced? Definitely models (compatible with BB) and textures for http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:LeFemm_Armor. Both Domina and Gold Armor looks awkward if we are using high quality replacers for vanilla morrowind armors.

I'd actually like to see all creatures in the game replaced with higher quality versions, and not just new textures, we have that already, but new models as well, because at this point, with so many other things getting new models, they're starting to look rather dated, and no matter how high the resolution of their textures is, it's not going to fix the fact that the meshes are incredibly blocky. And while some have gotten replacements, mostly using the Better Bodies meshes, there's still a lot more to do. Preferably, the new models should try to be faithful to the original ones while considerably improving on the quality.

Aside from that, I'd like to see the clothes that has not been touched on by Better Clothes replaced, including the robes, because they're starting to look a little dated too, I guess armor would be nice, although the various Better Armor mods by Hedgegog-12 are pretty well done from a technical standpoint, I don't really approve of some of the design choices, and it would be nice to have an alternative other than using the default models, plus, since they're so much more detailed than the original ones, the ones that aren't replaced look out of place by comparison. And some of the static meshes and activators that have so far been ignored could do with some replacements, especially the achemy plants, since they're starting to look a little awkward beside Vurt's trees, and while I suppose it's getting into the realm of unique landscapes rather than replacers, I'd really like to see a mod that makes the mountains look like actual mountains, as it stands, they just look like steep hills, really, I think adding some cliff statics would do a lot to improve them. I'd also say rocks, but there's already someone working on that, though I don't think all regions are finished yet.

Aside from that, I'd like to see better textures for Better Bodies males, because the original textures for the mod, while certainly not bad, aren't really satisfactory for me anymore due to other high resolution textures that are plentiful in my game, I know of at least one high resolution replacer for the female textures, but I can't find any for males, I know that Westly has released Better Bodies textures for males and females, but even these aren't quite what I want, though I'll use them until something that is becomes available.

There is a lot in Morrowind that could do with replacing, that's to be expected, given the age of the game. Though I wouldn't mind more options for things that already have had replacers made too, because that would mean more options to choose from, which would give users more freedom to customize the look of the game to suit their preference, it's just that there are things which don't even have options for yet.

I actually really like it  . I think it's one of the few things that doesn't need replacing.

I like the concept of making them walk in a distinctly different way from other races since it makes them feel more like races that are quite different from your generic humans or elves, but the animation itself is not very well done, but honestly, I'd say that all the character animations in the game are done pretty poorly, it's just that the movement for Khajiit and Argonians hasn't really been fixed yet. Still, you'd think that given how much some complain about it, you'd think someone would try to do something better.

I want to see torches to be usable as weapons. Enchanted with fire damage off course. It would make things real easy for me, I mean it is like a second DooM 3 case.
