What do you want the next expansion to be?

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 6:13 pm

Doesn't matter I wont buy it. Save your money for games with better programmers.

There's games that have disappointed me too.

I don't hang out their forum anymore.

Because why would anyone do that?

Id like to catch a ship out to some island near wherever the Redguards are from. Sorta like the Bloodmoon expansion.

There outfits got me interested. Kind of a north African feel.

Be a cool way to see a totally new landscape. (without to much work)

Sorry dude but the game Redguard was about a Redguard mercenary named Cyrus on the island Stros M'kai which is in Hammerfell where the Redguards are from.

A DLC involving the return of Lamae Beolfag/Bal. Two "new" factions become joinable, the Volkihar and the Order of the Virtuous Blood. You can join the Volkihar as a vampire, and they have a quest line that furthers Lamae Beolfag's goals. The PC Vampire experience greatly improved, allowing you to feed off of freshly slain NPCs, as well as the ability to choose how much to feed, in order to keep yourself at a certain level of Vampirism. Also gain a power similar to Frost Breath/Ice Form, that becomes more powerful the higher character and Vampire level that you are. The Order of the Virtuous Blood is a Vampire-Hunting order, with a quest line involving the thwarting of Lamae Beolfag's goals. The Volkihar are favored by Molag Bal, and the Order of the Virtuous Blood is favored by Arkay. At the end, a showdown between Molag Bal and Arkay, similar to Akatosh vs Mehrunes Dagon at the end of TES IV: Oblivion.

Sounds good. A vampire faction and vampire content is high on my wish list as well. Hoping it turns up in DLC or a great modder does a great job (some of the vampire mods for Morrowind were top notch.)

The small orc kingdom of Orsinium next to Skyrim would make a great expansion, and they already mention it in the Skyrim load screens. Its about the right size for a DLC, since it would be about the same size as Point Lookout for Fallout.

I think they will probably save Summerset Isles for TESVI, since they would need a whole game to do it justice.

In TES II: Daggerfall, you're able to go to the Alik'r Desert. They do kind of dress like that.

Yeah, i have a suspicion that they're gonna do more with Vampires and the Volkihar, considering one of the concept art pictures they did, was of Lamae Beolfag, and she's currently not in game. If you don't know who Lamae is, read this. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Opusculus_Lamae_Bal_ta_Mezzamortie

I vote thalmor invasion, but I have my own idea of how it should go.. one thing that irks me is there was no vote for high king, so technically (I went stormcloak) ulfric isn't high king yet. I say send the courier with an urgent letter saying to go to the Palace of the kings, (or possibly the Blue Palace if you are for the empire) and all Jarls should be present. Personally I think at this point it should depend on how well you are liked by each Jarl as to what is said. Start at one end of the table as they describe why they want Ulfric (or the leader of the imperials) as high kings, or why they want you (if you have helped their townspeople and became their thane) as high king.
Now they begin to finalize their decisions then, regardless of whoever would have the majority vote, the room turns a dark shade of red, and thalmor show up. After explaining that the red tint around them was some type of mass paralysis spell, they perform some type of soul trap ritual and (here's the fun part, you know all those npc Jarls that couldn't die?) All the Jarls bodies fall lifeless onto the floor and the thalmor get away.
As the spell wears off, the opposing runner for high king (just like in many skyrim scenarios) states the obvious. "Their souls were taken, only we can save them, and I just happen to know someone who can help us find out where they are blah, blah, blah.." so you start a rediculous journey and (just like how akatosh pops up in TES IV) id looove to see some divine intervention, but id like to participate at the same time, not stand by idly as they get all the glory, maybe talos since there's been all that controversy.
Soo that my Skyrim DLC idea. Like? Dislike?

Cyrodiil, strange I know, but it's right below Skyrim, I'm not saying Oblivion 2.0, but we are 200 years ahead, Cyrodiil could have changed in a lot of ways, and because it borders Skyrim it's perfect for a contiguous map, and my character would not say no to the warmer climate for a break B)

I'm amazed Orsinium even still exists, with Gortwog gro-Nogorm long dead. Gortwog was basically TES version of Forgotten Realms' "Obould Many-Arrows". At first a vicious, brutal Orc Warlord, then a shrewd and calculating leader who brought peace and prosperity to his people and gave them a "home". Before Gortwog, the Orcs were a barbarous, monstrous race, like in other RPGs. You'd think after he died, they'd revert back to barbarism.

Anything works for me as long as they are not thalmor, falmer or any other elve race. I just can't stand them. Besides, they're in the game fairly often. How about some Argonian, Khajit and Orc love? They are after all the most exotic and awesome race :D
