Every so often, when I go through all the encounters of Wild Wasteland, I think how it was really cool that the devs were able to not take things so seriously and have a funny, but divided from the great story, side. And every so often, i'd like to think that there could have been a few more Wild Wasteland moments in the game to make for more references, if only for the hell of it.

What wild wasteland ideas have you guys had? C'mon. Don't be shy. I might as well start with a few of mine.

After depleting all attempts of reason with either Oliver, Lanius, Ulysses, or Joshua Graham, the player would be able to use the Wild Wasteland Perk to say a phrase that will talk them down. It is: "I implore you to reconsider." This is a reference to Kung Pow, a hilarious kung fu movie. In order to make the reference though, their response MUST be : "hmm....OK."

In the Sierra Madre, the player can randomly see the long arm of Slenderman going behind a corner directly in front of where you would normally be heading.

The singing bush from The Three Amigos. Nearby a man with a stealth boy and a bumper sword. Most likely this would be somewhere near Bloodborne Cave for purposes of leveling and aesthetics.

Somewhere along the lines though, Fear and Loathing has to be referenced. Perhaps at the Wrecked Highwayman we find the skeletons of Raoul Duke and his Attorney? One of the skeletons would be wearing a hat similiar to the one Raoul wore, and on the ground nearby is a transduced holotape that transcribed their last words from the car's black box: "Told you we didn't have to stop, but that didn't mean speed up!"

Two Skeletons pinned to Crosses outside Cottonwood Cove are named John and Yoko (The way things are going, they're gonna crucify me!)

Referenceing Beavis and Butthead do America, place a random drinking fountain with purified water out in the middle of a dry lake. Other suggestion by friend is to have ravens in suggestive spots on two skeletons.
