What do you do with a....

I'm hoping we got some cookers or, people with general knowledge of food in here. A baby coconut was brought home, and no one has ANY idea wtf you use it for... or what it even is.. is it the inside of the coconut before the shell forms or... what? And what can it be used in//to make. :)

I'd imagine it could be used in any other dish that usually requires coconut milk or coconut cream, or in desserts. :shrug:

Iirc coconut milk is actually the liquid squeezed from the fruit of the coconut, the liquid inside of the coconut is coconut water, I'm not sure about coconut cream though...

As far as I know, the coconut milk is just the liquid squeezed out of the coconut cream. I've never really bothered about where it comes from, just how I can cook with it :P
