What is your characters story?

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 12:28 am

So , I want you guys to leave a story about your character and how they got locked up in the Skyrim prison. Here is my story! Lets keep this topic alive and interesting.

Luxa is an high elf who lived in the undergrounds cities of the dwarfs. Her elf family was murdered by Deadric assassins when she was just a little girl. She was the only one who survived. She was later found by a dwarf party hours later. It was very risky, for some reason dragons were swarming around here , miles arounds, but yet the dragons didnt attack the dwarfs. What is this odd power that Luxa has? Born and raised around dwarfs, she still has the natural heightened magic skills but is also an expert at heavy 2-handed weapons. A war breaks out in the dwarven cities and the dwarf race is literally obliterated. Her and some others only survived. With everyone going their separate ways, she must go her way to. With her skills, she should make something of herself. She heres news of a civil war in Skyrim. What not a better opportunity to prove herself. She traveled north to a city called Bruma. Perhaps here, find a new family.Once she got to Bruma, she journeyed on, she eventually found a group of altmer. Here she lived and trained her magic, taking it to unbelievable possibilities. She read many books about magic. One day she came across a book titled. Secrets of the dark arts. Very curious, she read the book. She studied it. She later asked her chief of her tribe about the magic she had learned. The chief did not take kindly of this new magic. Dark arts were forbidden to the altmer people. Luxa was banished from her tribe. Luxa didn't understand what she did wrong. She was mad, confused. The dark forces were taking over her body. She was mad and wanted revenge. She went to the camp at night, ready to test her new powers. She destroyed the whole camp. Afterwards she felt horrible. She ran away, blocking herself from social contact. As if she was a ghost. Her body was tookin over by dark and good forces. She was just a puppet, uncontrollable for her actions. One day she was approached by a few dark wizards. Who found her powers, quite amusing. They asked for her to join their cults. A clan that was good, but yet had an evil soul that came unpredicted. The cult was called the "Deathly Hallows" She traveled with them. Destroying necromencers and spreading their names. They got misunderstood on their beliefs and were captured by the Synod wizards. Wizards from the North. Near Skyrim. The synod work for the king. Luxa and the other Deathly Hallows were tookin to the North. Months went by. Luxa was the only Deathly Hallow left. The others were already executed. Just what if she got out?.....................welcome to Skyrim.

She got caught in the act of necrophilia in Cyrodiil and had to cross the border as a refugee.

Alas, the people of Skyrim are just as closed minded as their southern cousins.

OHMYGODWALLOFTEXT!
Ahem. Anyway.
*dig dig dig*
Narved was injured. He was out in the Great Forest, in the middle of nowhere. No one was coming to save him.
He wasn't sure why the minotaurs had attacked. There were ten of them and a minotaur lord.
He had beaten them back and killed the lord. Not before it had pierced him through the ribcage with it's horn though.
And as he lay there, stranded with his lifeblood flowing onto the cold hard ground, he grunted.
It was not his time to die on this day. Not like this.

And yet, in the 3E in the month of Frostfall, Narved died.
In the 3E late on into the Sixth Century, there was a young boy, broken and hurting, but very much alive.
His name is Narved Chillvein.
He is Dovakiin.
Dragonborn.

Bruin Bloodaxe, the badass Nord warrior got locked up in prison, for getting drunk and assaulting the daughter of a lord. He sixually assaults lots of women, but he always got away with it, until now. Enraged, the lord first gave him a sentence of 20 years, but Bruin then told the lord to go **** himself (since he was still drunk) and got sentenced to death. The story of Skyrim begins from there...

Yeah, not that great but I think it will be good enough for me.

Edit: Quick backstory:

Bruin Bloodaxe, born in Cyrodiil, got thrown in the river by his parents as a baby, because he kept looking up womens skirts as they walked past. All seemed to be lost for the baby, who even had a beard back then, until a family of bears appeared and raised him as their own. By the time he was 15, he was already stronger than most men and left his family of bears, to go back to the Nord homeland of Skyrim. Most people would find Skyrim to be hell, with its freezing temperatures, but it was but a light breeze for him, literally. And so the story of our perverted hero began.

The character that will for certain become Dovahkiin is an Altmer named Berenur.

Born slightly less than a century ago in the month of the Lord in a little village outside Cloudrest, Berenur was a rough and tumble child who preferred playing outdoors to studying magic, much to the exasperation of his traditionalist magi parents. He did study of course- he could only avoid his instructors for so long- and proved to have all the natural arcane talents his people typically boasted.

Swords and armor were always so much more interesting to the young boy, though, and he took every opportunity to pester the warriors up at the old fort for stories or some such. Watching them train, he studied their techniques and tried to practice them on his own. His mother was less than pleased with the broken crockery that resulted from that. Rather than ban him from ever returning to the fort, his parents set him before an old, retired battlemage to discern if he had any actual potential. He did and his teachings expanded to include many martial aspects in addition to his magical studies.

When he was a teenager by Altmer standards, he left his home to travel the wider world and learn what he otherwise could not. And he has learned a bit, has done some good. He has also made his share of mistakes despite his best intentions. It is his latest mistake that got him thrown in jail. No one had died, thankfully, but the ill-placed spell had ended levelling half a town. He has been sitting quietly in a cell ever since, wanting nothing more than to atone for his actions, not knowing he's been sentenced to death for the damages.

Can everyone read that okay? Not to run-on?

Posted this earlier too, but anyways here we go:

Name: Braeden Darkvale
Race: Breton
Personality: Calm, aloof, disillusioned after years in the Legion
Physical appearance: weary, stern and scarred face, high cheekbones, gaunt cheeks, charcoal short hair, short beard.
Class/Profession: Forester
Preferred weapon: Longbow
Preffered Attire: Practical woodsman clothing, brown or green. And an old woolen cloak.
Place of birth: Village outside Farrun

Family History: Braeden descends from a noble family and many of his ancestors served in the Order of the Raven,
but at some point his ancestors fell at bad times and eventually his line became mere farmers and craftsmen.
His great grandfather settled down somewhere outside Farrun as a farmer.

Personal history: Braeden grew up as the youngest of three brothers on a small farm in High Rock.
His father used to send him and his brothers out to hunt so that the family had more food to put on the table.
Thus he became proficient both in archery and woodcraft.
Since the family farm would pass down to the oldest brother it was soon decided that he would have to find something else to do when he grew up.
So at an age of 22 he enlisted into the Imperial Legion as an archer.
During his time in the Legion Braeden got to see many places of Tamriel and campaigned in places like Elsweyr and Black Marsh.
He often sent letters back to his family back in High Rock, butafter some years the farm got sacked and his parent and oldest brother got killed by bandits.
At the time he was on a campaign on the border between Morrowind and Black Marsh and wasn't able to come home to tend to their funeral.
His remaining brother moved to Wayrest and set up a store, but eventually he and Braeden lost contact.
After several ended tours of duty, he eventually got transferred to the Foresters considering his combat experience and woodcrafting skills.
At this point he was assigned to patrol the area around Bruma. There he fell in love a breton woman named Caelia. After months courting they finally got married.
Although they were childless they were happily married for three years until she died from a disease, while he was out patrolling.
He was heartstruck by this and became rather reclusive and spent even more time in the wilds.

One late night traveling back to Bruma, he spotted the count's son trying to [censored] a poor nord maiden.
Acting quickly he pushed the man away from the young woman, but the rapist tumbled himself up on his feet again and drew a sword against Braeden.
A fight ensued, but although the young man was a good duelist, he couldn't stand up to the combat experience of the grizzled breton.
And soon the son of the count laid down in a pool of blood.
Just as Braeden was helping the rescued damsel to get up, one of the guard lieutenants turn up an tries to arrest him.
But before the guard is able to react he is beaten unconscious by the maiden giving Braeden a small lead.
Knowing that he would be chased all over Cyrodiil for the murder of a count's son he heads north towards Skyrim hoping to escape from the law in the midst of the civil war...

My character is going to be Merari the Altmer.
He is going to find out during the course of the game that he is in fact a reincarnation of the Merari the Altmer who defeated Mehrunes Dagon, who is a reincarnation of the Nerevarine, who was a blades agent in Daggerfall in a previous life.
Its very complicated, but my character suffers from a great doom layed on him by the gods. (Or perhaps they are playing a quiet joke on him.)
He dies, and reincarnates only to be the one who turns out to have to save the world.. again.
I thoroughly enjoy playing a miffed out Altmer who would really like a quiet life for once, if only whatever kept placing him in the middle of terribly important events would stop doing it.
Due to the non linear, non temporal nature of his reincarnations he has to his dismay once calculated that during the events of Morrowind three seperate versions of him were alive in Tamriel. That slightly depresses him.

He is proficient in destruction and each incarnation has a natural affinity for it. During his adventures, as his memories return, he remembers things his previous live(s) researched and that helps him get an edge.
Because he has no real choice in the matter of saving the world, because in his heart he would rather study or collect butterflies, he has developed a ruthless streak. When someone is between him and his goal they often find themselves accidentally eating an unfortunately poisoned apple, or they make the mistake of finding a piece of jewelry and trying it on, only to find out its cursed.
He does not like killing innocents and normally will only attack if attacked first, unless the innocent is directly between him and his goal, in wich case he arranges an 'accident'.
He is also not above playing the various political factions and will promise anything that provides an edge or gets him closer to his goal, even if he has promised the opposite to someone else, or has no intention of keeping his word.
Technically his class would be spellsword but his behaviour makes him more like a cloak and dagger type diplomat.

In Skyrim he is going to be a young exile from the Summerset isles, who has just travelled to Skyrim.
For reasons unknown to him he is going to get arrested while crossing the Skyrim border from the Imperial province.
In his cell he is going to have a dream that he will mistake for a dream about the life of an ancestor, about being in a shipwreck and ending up inside a dungeon called the Privateer's hold..

Mine is going to be a breton Mage/assassin.

He was a noob, a dupe in a small village's school in The Reach, northeast of Evermor. His father used to batter him, his mather was dead, and his brothers and sisters used to mock him every day. One night, after being bullyed, he decided to set on fire some guys' cottage, but the fire spread out to all the village, killing all the inhabitants.

Far from repenting, he moved a calcinated boy to his bed, stole some goods from every house and decided to ran away, moving to Skyrim's frontier. In thee way, he managed to kill a pack of three young wolves and skin them, getting only one useful skin to shelter from freezing in the mountains. He was caught in the first village, after killing a beggar to get some cheese (he hates cheese, but was starving) and imprisioned, and in the long, dark nights, he beged to Night Mother to hear his plea and embrace him in the Dark Brotherhood.

Talisma is a khajiit spell bow who was born in 4E 186. Her parents were really old when they birthed her, having survived the devastation of Vvardenfall, and the attack of Umbriel in Black Marsh when they retreated there after the Ministry of Truth fell. Talisma's mother died of complications from the birth and was raised by her father and the local Argonian community. On 4E 190, her father was killed by Umbra. The attack was odd and seemed random as her father was the only casualty in the small village. Unofficially adopted by many of the Argonian villagers, she was taught how to hunt at an early age. She was talented at magic, but had to restrict her use because she was born under the Atronach. So she took up archery and excelled there. She wanted some way to use her talents in magic, so she decided to combine both archery and spell casting together at no major loss to her magic reserves. She may be young, but she swore to herself and the villagers that she would find Umbra and destroy it, thus aenging her father's death and ridding Tamriel of the accursed sword.

Jamison is an unassuming Breton born to a refugee family in Vivec. Though naturally talented at Magic, he was not chosen by the Mage's guild to train and harness his talents. His Father was cobbler and was well known for his Skooma addiction. This would have been seen by the mages as too much of a liability to accept for poor Jamison. So he grew up on the streets and sewers of the capital city landing in and out of jail for petty crimes and minor offenses. Throughout his youth, he became proficient at sneaking and theiving often times getting by on what he could pick pocket from the local commoners.

In his teenage years, he decided to leave the Morrowind province and make a new life for himself in the Imperial City. While en route, he was befriended by a group of bandits and over the next few years they taught him basic skills of archery and swordplay so he would be able to carry his weight in their plunders. He was terribly interested in how the long bow could allow him to creep and attack from a distance. This would soon deveolp into his passion. He soon found himself raiding old forts and ruins throughout the province in hopes of finding riches and treasures.

In his mid 20s, he met Shyla. Shyla was a beautiful Imperial woman who was a journeyman in the mages guild. Though she would travel from time to time, she spent most of her days studying in Chorral. She was the first to encourage Jamison to explore his magical origins and he soon took a liking to conjuration. He quickly devolped a fascination for conjuring small creatures and basic tools. About the time their love started blossoming, a horrible illness struck Shyla and she died. This left Jamison reeling and threw him into a fit of depression.

Angry at the world, he fell into a life of hard crime. Theft, kidnapping, and murder soon caught the attention of the Imperial Soldiers who tirelessly fought to capture him. Feeling he had nothing else to live for, Jamison fled north to Skyrim. Unfortunately, the long arm of the law could not be avoided and Jamison was caught, tried, and found guilty of all his crimes and sentenced to death where he is currently awaiting execution.

Excellent character bios thus far! Here's mine:

Name: Jaurès Bazzi

Race: Redguard/Breton (Redguard father, Breton mother)

Appearance: Average height, lithe build, tan skin, and hazel eyes with short cropped sand-colored hair

Social Standing: Redguard nobility

Place of Birth: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Dragonstar

Profession: Noble (third child, youngest son)

Class: Battlemage

Weaponry: Frost, Lightning spells (left hand); Longsword (right hand)

Armor: Light armors, mage's hood/cowl

Backstory: Jaurès is the son of a reasonable influential Redguard noble, in the town of Dragonstar near the border with Skyrim and High Rock. He's in his early 20's, and is used to being the errandboy (more of a pawn, frankly) for both his father's and his mother's families. Jaurès comes from a long line of Redguard warriors on his father's side, and Breton magisters on his mother's. Occasionally na?ve, Jaurès has the habit of getting himself into trouble, but always manages to get out of it-- either due to his remarkable charisma, or his skill as a battlemage. Extensive tutoring has taught Jaurès to combine the talents of both lineages: Redguard martial abilities with Breton magical aptitude. He is kind and generous (sometimes overly so, causing people to question his motives), but he can be positively ruthless if someone gets in the way of his goals.

His most recent task was assigned to him by his father's side of the family, the Bazzi Family of Dragonstar: his father has long wanted to expand his influence, and what better a way to do so than to take advantage of chaos elsewhere? The tumult in Skyrim has presented the Bazzi Family with an opportunity, so Jaurès travelled to Skyrim at the behest of his father to meet with a political in a Nordic noble family. However, shortly after meeting with his Nordic allies, Jaurès was caught up in squabbles far above his head, and accused of espionage.

Jaurès was then imprisoned, and summarily sentenced to execution. And so the adventure begins...

Hrol is a Nord Crusader(heavily armored warrior with spellcasting abilities and a good cause) born in Cyrodiil. He was trained in the arts of war and magic by a friend of the family, Eirik the Bloody. Eirik was killed and Hrol tried to hunt down the killer. After tarcking the killer to Skyrim he was captured at the border, framed for the very acts of the criminal he tracked. That day he swore that he would become a Crusader, doing what is nesessary to keep evils at bay if he was ever set free.

In Skyrim when you lose your head mentally you must also lose it physically! :D

Fernin the Vermin - Born of an Imperial father and Nord mother, he became a gaurd in Makarth Side. He learned to track down thieves with their own cunning and skills and became good a getting the truth out of accomplices through conversation ,skulking out in steakouts, and finding hidden secrets learning the arts of lockpicking. Mocked for his part Imperial background by some of the other Nords, he decided he wanted to prove himself by being the best at what he could and helping where he could to gain acceptance. He continued to thwart out small criminals and other underlings he never took down any one big but he caught many of the small timers though they said if he focused on the head of the problem the lessers would trickle out but Fernin didn't seem to take to the advice and ontinued to go after petty thieves than the king pens. He was decent with a knife and other small arms due to cramped taverns and poverty struck houses had little space to maneuver. Over the years the strife between the imperial loyalists and Nord rebels continued to drag on causing even more friction and people questioning his loyalty. He was asked by one of his close friends who had gain such revel contacts to help them sabotage an Imperial barracks a little ways out. Pressured he agreed, and helped to unlock and torch the place, but through missinformation they didn't know a small number of gaurds were actually inside though they thought they were all on patrol due to some rumors f werebeasts in the area conjured up by the rebels. They succeeded in burning the place and then heard the screams of the men inside just in time for the group of legionaries to return. Most ran off but Firnin nearest to the door wasn't able to get away and was sent to a cell to wait execution by beheading.

Ah, the mighty Archmage Alfaeyne. Born to an elf girl of Altmer dominated but still mixed ancestry and an anamoly among The Daedra. That in and of itself might be enough to have gotten him arrested. But it isn't what led to his arrest. Hardly anyone knew about the strange circumstances of his birth anyway, nor about his Daedric heritage.

It wans't on account of the Nord Warlords and Orc Chieftans whom he had annihilated along with their rauaging armies. It wasn't due to his consorting and cavorting with Daedra, though he had done so often in his long life. It had nothing to do with the necromancers he had slain, nor the Altmer wizards whom he had been forced to slay when they foolishly challanged him in contests of magical supremecy. It was unrelated to the master assasins whom he had tracked down and executed as a vigilante vindicator for the purpose of halting their hideious business. It wasn't for the artifacts and tomes of power which he had stolen over the years. Nope.

It was a simple matter, really, when compared to all these deeds. After the assault by agents of the vengeful Mehrunes Dagon which left him dreadfully weakened, and in the wake of which he forgot many of the skills he knew, one of the first powers to return to him was The Power to Charm. And being gifted in enchantment and devoutly lecherous. . . he used his charms on beautiful people, and you can just imagine where it went. And then the night came when he charmed the wrong dutchess, and the consequences for the resulting dalliance were. . . well, you see where he ended up, don't you?!

Name: Velion

Race: Breton

Appearance: Average height and weight. White skinned and Blonde hair.

Social Standing: Breton Arch Mage

Place of Birth: Cyrodill

Profession: Arch Mage

Class: Spell Slinger

Weaponry: Dual Spells (depending if there is spell combination or not.)

Armor: Enchanted Robes

Velion was an Archmagister of the Cyrodill Mage's Guild ever born, by the age of seven, Velion, was casting spells some of the most venerated casters could not fathom. By the time he was nine he was so advanced the Archmage of the guild was learning from him, the boy was teaching him. When he became a Man by the standards of the people in Tamriel at age 18, the old Arch magister stepped down to let Velion take his place as the Youngest Arch Mage ever born. People from all around Tamriel came to learn from Velion. He taught as many as he could so the world would be better off. Velion's most promising student and one of his best friends resided in the freezing land of Skyrim. When his training was complete his friend urged him to join him on his journey back to Skyrim. He agreed to join him, because the politics and drama of the Imperial City were taxing on his mind and he needed a break. On their way to Skyrim their camp was attacked during the dead of the night while Velion was sleeping, his student was killed by a stray arrow fired by one of the bandits. In his rage over his friend's death, Velion, destroyed the attackers with a fury never before seen. After he buried his friend, he decided to continue to Skyrim in search of the student's parents and tell them personally what had happened during their travels. When Velion arrived in Skyrim he quickly located his friend's parents and told them of the unfortunate occurrence. They offered him a place to rest for however long he wished, Velion decided to take them up on their offer and stay in Skyrim for a while to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the people of Cyrodill. Velion postponed his practice of magic, as he was walking on the street, someone challenged him to a duel to prove his worth. He was so upset so he agreed, He tried to cast a measly fire spell, but it was much stronger than he anticipated. He put rage and hatred into the spell. The flaming ball exploded on the man and showed the city in fire, the explosion killed 23 people. He survived, but the energy it took to cast a spell like that knocked him unconscious, near death. When he woke up, he couldn't remember anything, the power of the spell took away his memory. While he was unconscious the guards dragged him to one of the large cities in Skyrim and threw him in jail for the deaths of so many, He sat in the jail cell trying to remember who he was, why he was in jail, he could remember nothing but his own name and that he was a magician of some sorts. (start skyrim)

I know it's crap, and long, but I thought it up on the spot :D
