I lurk mainly over on the Fallout boards, but since there's such a great mix of people here, I thought this could be an interesting exercise.

What is your dream job? I mean the job that if it was offered to you right now, and everything would be taken care of (moving expenses, paid training provided), you'd drop everything and go. You'd start immediately.

This is a serious query, even if you don't think my answers are serious. Disclaiming your current occupation is not required.

It's a toss up between pop star, and hairdresser for the stars. If I was offered both and HAD to choose one -- Weapon GaGa it would be

Does getting paid to stay home and watch TV and play video games count?

Cause if it does. That's my dream job. Getting paid to quite literally do nothing.

Of course, why not? If you dream it and could get paid for it, then I say it's legit.

Move to Cali and grow... plants... for the government.

Or the one comment about getting paid for doing nothing at all. that would also be sweet.

Someone has to fix all of the messes and I'm very good at doing that.

Stunt double would be cool. Seems interesting and I couldn't think of anything else off the top of my head.

Maybe a park ranger or something go out doors and rough up a few of teenagers if they leave their cigerettes on the forest floor.

Professor of Classics at a good (do they exist anymore) Liberal Arts college (do these exist anymore either?). (Neither of them do in my opinion).

Game designer or actor. Either one would work, and I would probably try my best to do at least one role if i ever do a game with voice acting. I'm studying game design starting next year, getting the basics out of the way this year. Not sure why i never studied drama, I didn't realise I enjoyed acting so much untill I was writing and acting in short films, radioplays and hosting a radio show during highschool (/shameless bragging ). Never really thought about it before then.

EDIT: For some reason I always wanted to own my own fast food restaurant, but with actual food that people can eat. Pretty much every fast food you can tihnk of and then some, hot dogs, pizza, burgers, kebab and the list goes on. With a wide selection in all areas obviously, plus we would sell acohol and tobacco, so basically the perfect place to eat.

but realistically...having my research project lead to a new career, then having that company relocate me to their London branch. It would be a research position where they send me all over the world to collect data.
