Other then the occasional step forward for a while *pause* and moving on I've been fairly glitch-less. It's frozen on me twice, once when I was killing a giant ant with a machete and second when I was buying ammo in Novac. Other then that, I really haven't had any problems.

I'm at about 4 hours of play on a PC, with only a few minor glitches.
- I fought a scorpion which had it's body stuck in the ground and only the tail sticking out.
- A couple of times during random wandering, the game froze for about 30 seconds, but then continued just fine.

I'm running UHQ @ 1920 x 1200 and loving it so far. No noticeable drops in frame rate yet.

I've had occasional random crashes, and a consistently recurring crash on one occasion, but I'm also playing the PC version, which means it could easily be related to video cards or OS problems. That said, they haven't been frequent enough to bother me all that much.

My game has only frozen once in about 15-16 hours of gameplay on the Xbox 360 S. The time it froze I had literally been playing about 8-9 hours straight.. so it's not out of the ordinary.

Got laggy a couple times though and there's been a couple times when ground textures or whatever in the Mojave wouldn't load for a few seconds.

Nothing major really.

No option in your poll for "Longest Installation Time of a PC Game with a disk EVER!!"

I'm going on hour 9 of my install. Which I don't get, I have a DVD of the game still don't reallu get what the purpose of having the DVD is if Steam is doing all of the installation. Its 3:40am and Steam is only at 77% of the install. I HAVE A DISK!!!!

Sometimes, I wish it would just go back to the old way. You have a disk, you install you play. Not, you have a disk, you need a third party program to install and play game. This svcks.

As far as installation goes, well, *in theory* it's a fault with Steam, an I do not doubt the mods will soon chime in an post a wonderful explanation how you have to jump through hoops of fire to get Steam to understand it's a DVD install, and consider the matter settled. But I digress.

Mucking around with poll options now is not an option, I'm afraid, due to already existing votes (and a decent number, too, I might add).

It hasn't even looked at the disk. in fact I took it our of the drive. The only thing I needed was the CD key. This is just stupid.

Everything was great until the auto save/quicksave bug started, which I'm sure had something to do with the recent steam update as it started happening for me after I updated/restarted steam. Steam is terrible. Luckily, though, I only lost about 30 minutes of gameplay. Thank god GSL day 3a started or else I would have kept playing and probably lost 3-5 hours of gameplay before noticing the bug.

Having played 4 hours i had 2 freezes,

had these similar bugs also (Panurgy had them on pc i had them on Xbox360)

- I fought a scorpion which had it's body stuck in the ground and only the tail sticking out.
- A couple of times during random wandering, the game froze for about 30 seconds, but then continued just fine.

- Had a companion stuck between rocks (EDE)
- Some lag when the game loads random events....

For the rest it plays fine but the French translation of this game is an abomination (i did order a UK version at the shop but the guy ordered a french one instead :banghead: ), i'll get the English version in a few days...

Ive had some bugs. A little too many honestly. One of my characters had to be restarted because peoples dialogue wasn't matching up with their mouths and certain sounds were shutting on and off. Ive had a few freezes also. Its a great game but Ive already encountered more bugs a few hours into New Vegas than I had all together in a few playthroughs of 3. Still a great game, just save a lot...

The final quest in Goodsprings was unplayable because of a terrible frame rate. Pausing the game fixed it, but not right away. Other than that, just the usual stuttering that was also found in FO3, although it seems to be more common and slightly worse in NV.

I get some FPS dips when there are a bunch of people, such as me raiding Caesar's Fort. Vegas Strip also caused an FPS dip last time I was there. Encountered 2 enemies in rocks. Encountered 2 terrible rag dolls, where the hand would be stuck in the door and I would forever hear fast clattering during my duration in the zone. Has crashed four times in my 12 hours of gameplay, two of them when loading saves when already in game, another when running in the Strip if I recall, and one while on my way back from sheriff recruitment.

While you technically only need the CD Key, the disk itself provides a fast install, and a fast reinstall if need be. I started installing after a buddy of mine started decrypting his preload and I finished before him.

That's funny. Because it never ever looked at the DVD drive to see if there was a disk to install from. When I put the disk in the drive the Steam authenticator popped up asked for the CD key and validated my copy. Then Steam automatically opened and it spent nearly 13 hours downloading and installing FO:NV from Steam. I woke up at 3am to find the computer still DLing from Steam. I went back to bed. Woke up at 6am to go to work and checked again and it was still DLing from Steam. I left for work and at 7:30am my wife texted me and said she was shutting the computer off because it was done DLing. If 13 hours is considered a fast install I'd really hate to see what a slow install would be.

The disk, was absolutely useless for me. As it apparently had nothing on it. Or so it seemed to me anyway because it never installed from the disk. Again, I ask Bethesda and Obsidian; why package a disk when you could've put a piece of paper with the Steam key for DL in the box? It certainly would've saved on having expensive coasters made up. Maybe the game could've been sold for $40 as opposed to $70 if you just printed off keys for Steam.

Honestly, if I had known it was going to DL from Steam anyway I wouldn't of spent the $101 dollars on the Collector's Edition game and Collector's Edition book and I would've waited for this Friday night to start my DL so that by Saturday morning I could play. Now, I am frustrated because I thought I had a physical copy of the game because I had a DVD and thought that I'd be able to just install via the DVD and play on release day. Eh...whatever. I have no issues with the game itself; at least yet as I have no experience with it right now. I just have an issue with Steam.

At any rate, there is no guarantee that my game is even going to work this evening when I get home either. I've had Steam install games that didn't work then I'd have to reinstall again and wait another 13 hours.

I've only played for 3-4 hours, and I'm still in the initial area, but here are the problems I've encountered so far:

Technical bugs
*Resolution not being saved ("fixed" via offline-Steam method)
*FPS drops over time, starts to skip for no reason. Eventually I get long pauses while the music is playing but the screen is frozen for a few seconds. (yes I have good cooling)
*Alt-tab to Windows loses my mouse cursor
*Mouse movement in the interface (Menu, character creation, Pip-Boy) it way too fast and jerky, but in game it's fine.
*Loading screen says "Please Wait", but if I press Escape it loads immediately.
*Radio skips, drops songs mid-way.
*Smaller animals often get stuck underground. For example, I was fighting a scorpion and only his tail was sticking out of the ground and he couldn't move.

Gameplay issues
*Killing someone evil who attacked me first, and then looting his stuff is considered stealing and drops my karma
*Some NPC's are missing dialog options - (ex., Trudy won't talk to me about the gas station guy, even though it's my quest.)
*Some enemies can see you from extreme distances, even if in stealth mode.
*Sometimes the cinematic kill takes way too long if the body is still moving (like rolling down a hill). I like the cinematic but I want to be able to cancel it when it gets stuck.
*Can't find my Karma points. Only thing I see in the Reputation tab is if a town/faction likes me or not, but no actual score.
*Pip-boy interface svcks for fast-paced action. Need to pull up pip-boy in the middle of a battle to switch weapons, take meds or switch armor. (Does the fight stop while I look at it? "Wait, wait, hang on, lemme check this thing on my arm, I know I have a better shotgun in here..."
*Would like a way to access the map quickly, or have a mini-map on screen.

Intel Q6600 cpu, ATI 5870 (single monitor) with driver v10.9, 4 gig ram, Windows 7 x64

I've only got four hours in on a launch PS3. So far, nothing major, but a lot of minor stuff. FAR more than I've ever experienced in FO3 on the same machine (until I downloaded Broken Steel but we don't need to talk about that). The game hiccups every time I walk into a new zone. It freezes for a couple seconds every time. And I mean every time.

I've also had the weirdest non-hits in VATS. I would go into VATS, have 95% to hit a body part, have enough AP for four shots, and they would all miss. This happened repeatedly for a while.

The only other glitch that was glaring was a Gecko Hunter spawned inside another Gecko Hunter which was frozen in place. I couldn't hurt either of them so I just walked away.

PS3 FNV:
Playtime: 5+ hours
Crashes: 0
Bugs/Glitches: 1
A sand scorpion was twitching in the road and then sling shot into the sky, then fell back down deceased.
Performance Issues: 1. Slightly more than Fallout 3 on the PS3, the game needs to load new scenery, so it will stall for a split second if you're running in certain areas full pace. Thankfully they've excluded the infamous "Loading" message, and it's not half as distracting as Oblivion's loading stall was on 360.
Map Covered: 1/3rd of the overall massive map. Haven't been to the Vegas Strip yet.

It runs flawless on my computer.

Q6600
2GB RAM
Radeon HD4670

That alone makes it twice as good as FO3.

My glitches? Ok, here we go.

#1: Both, BOTH of my save games, auto and manual, got corrupted. "requires DLC, can not read save device"
#2: After the game froze, and crashed my xbox........... I LOST MY GAMER PROFILE. How is that even possible??? I dunno, but it's gone and I can't recover it.
#3: Who tested this game? Fire them!
#4: Even if they release a patch, my xbox isn't capable of logging onto xbox live for me to download it.
#5: :banghead:

Wow, I have been mad at games before, but atleast I could always reload a save and my gamer profile didn't get deleted. It's like I played the slots and had everything taken away from me.
