I've recently been playing the game with outfits rather than armour. It's more fun plus I look good when I kill people with V.A.T.S. What I'm wondering is for those who like fashion over functionality what do you wear?

I'm currently wearing the regulator duster with the poplar hood and lucky shades. It gives me that wasteland look and looks pretty badass. This is my male character who is in the very good karma region.

Pictures are welcome too. I'm on the PS3 version but I'd like to see your modded outfits too!

Well, currently on my newest Neutral Character (all my characters always end up neutral somehow :shrug:) Im wearing Colonel Autumns Outfit, with Sunglasses (off of Sam Warrick) and the Shady Hat. (Courtesy of Moira Brown). This character always has the Clean Cut hairstyle, early in the game he always wore Eyeglasses (off of Jonas), A Grimy Business Outfit, and was clean shaven. After getting the Co. Autumn Trenchcoat he grew a Rough Beard.

Before this, I had a 19th Century British Nobleman RP going on. I had the Tenpenny Outfit, with Smooth Wave hairstyle and a mustache. Since he wasn't much of a fighter, he had a bodyguard (Charon) follow him around everywhere. (I made Charon wear Enclave Hellfire Armor though :ninja: ) When playing this character, I would talk out loud in a refined British accent, and before heading anywhere I would say "Tally-Ho!". Don't ask why, it just sounded right.

lolol im english and ive never heard anyone ever say tally-ho lol, i think you should listen to some of the worst accents in england lol
any back on topic i like walking around in regulator duster with hunting rifle and sunglasses

Female character with clean cut hairstyle (Reddish Blonde).

Button's wig and Naughty Nightwear.

Pint-Sized Slasher Mask is also fun to wear. Wear that, and a Grimy Business Suit, then use the Dismemberer to just go and chop up everyone who has the misfortune of being in your line of sight.

In towns? Dirty Pre-War Businesswear, Smooth Wave hair, sometimes Sunglasses. In the field, Combat Armor with a Bandana.

My very evil character wears the outcast scribe robe, Lincoln's hat, biker goggles with a commerade mustache, makes him look like the bad guy off gangs of new york. He uses knives and stuff. :toughninja:

Power armor and Reds Bandana. Either that or a hat. :ninja:

I carry around several outfits for my favorite character Lilith. She is currently sporting a dark pink Wendy the Welder hair style(I'll probably change the style and color today.) I'll switch from Lag-bolt's Combat Armor ( love the Talon Co. style.), Leather Rebel(a nice Wastelander look), Wanderer's Leather Armor (Mad Max look gotta love it), and Wasteland Legend Outfit(looks great on gals not so much on guys.) Along with The Terrible Shotgun slung around my back ready for action. All special is at 10 so i don't have a use for things that add special properties(such as luck or strength.)

My main character (who I've just finished with) was modeled after http://digitalkontent.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/snake20plissken.jpg. So he wore a Regulator Duster, had a Blast Back hair style, started with a rough beard and then later grew a survivalist. However I make do with wearing Lucky Shades because there are no eye patches in :fallout: as far as I'm aware. Then if I'm walking around a town I have a sawn-off in my holster... I never use it but it looks perfect.

Right now I'm wearing the Regulator Duster combined with some pieces form the Tailor Maid mod. I agree with you, OP. Style over substance.

I play as a lawbringer with a whiskey addiction. So I wear the Junior Officer Uniform and a Police Hat from the Broken Steel.

I'd like to make a correction to what I wear.... as it's just changed. I have just found in my footlocker (must of been there ages) Vance's Longcoat. It gives an extra +5 to small guns and +1 to perception, as well as the +1 to charisma you get from the duster. I never knew that this thing existed.... repairs made with leather armour too :tops:

Edit: just to be clear, the longcoat is identical to the duster in appearance.
