I threatened/forced Beagle to be my companion for that short period once. I can't remember if he actually says that line, tho...I've never done it again, since I don't actually need his help.

So far veronica is all i could put up with. Plus she doesnt care if i kill everybody. I did ditch her for a little bit so i could use arcade for his quest, then i killed him and gave his armor to veronica :]


On a side note, does veronica ever try on her dress? I gave her versa's outfit(spelling/name?) and she got all happy and said she love it and will try it on later.

No, the dress isn't better DT than her default armor so she'll never wear it in an unmodded game.

Probably Veronica. When her quest triggered and her dialogue finished with "I think I want to go home," I believe I felt my heart break a little. I think she and Raul have the best voice actors. With T-51 armor and Pushy, Veronica has been pretty dominant. (Although her lower health cap made it a challenge for her to survive Legate's Camp on Very Hard.)

Non-humanoid: ED-E with the armor upgrade has been great. A good pack mule with a great perk. Haven't used Rex much but because he doesn't have a ranged attack I think he would die too easily (hardcoe). And it sounds like his armor upgrade is bugged.

Lily with Oh, Baby! and her massive health gets it done, too.

Raul's repair exploit was really handy for making a large amount of caps and getting my armor maxed. But I don't care about his perk as much as it sounds like others do. Weapon repair kits are easy to make.

Boone,A steely cold sniper that picks off targets before you see them. Whats not to like? :gun:

Cassidy, great character, voice acting, and every time I RP a male, I always wish I could __________ her.

I gotta say Veronica and rex. Veronica becuase of funny dialogue and because of her ability to smash cazadors.

I prefer Boone with ED-E pretty good perks to snipe them guys from afar with Mr. Gobi

I dont like raul because who needs his perk i got jury rigging and make weapon repair kits for non-repairable weapons.

Veronica is my 2nd favorite because she can actully use a ranged attack and have a force with a ballistic fist.

Make sure not to hand Boone explosives ,he likes to throw them at ranges up to 5 ft.

I got the most enjoyment out of Lily. I just love that old lady. And most forgiving. I don't know how many times I shot her in the back of the head, but she still treats me like one of her kids. But on a purely practical level I'd have to go with Boone or Ed E. I sometimes forget and put a stack of grenades on Boone. They should have named him Boom.

Boone is the best. He hated me at first but since I've sided with NCR, he's gotten around to be my buddy. His inventory is screwed up because when he's equipping a sniper rifle, his inventory only show a service rifle. Unless he's got a scope mod, which I doubt. I've had to leave him behind at 38 for Cass. He's really great, though with his 1st recon upgrade. But he's an even better companion coupled with E-DE's laser upgrade. They make a dynamic duo, those two.

Lily is great but I saw Ronnie take on five deathclaws and killed them one by one with her power fist so she's a close second. We need a hot guy though, we never get any love

Boone is almost "to good". He always snipes baddies from miles away, even before I even know they are there. Plus he always steals kills from me. No big deal, but come on! Save some kills for me! So, recently I switched to Veronica. Wanted someone not quite as good, plus, I wanted to meet the Brotherhood of Steel.

I found Lily dead before I even got a chance to speak with her, so I can never have her as a companian, unless i start agian.

Yep im useing ED-Es weapon upgrade with Boone.Very fun to watch alien blaster looking energy fly throu the air.
