I consider them different because most of the Daedra are considered bad and they tend to do things for their own benefit or to double-cross someone, whereas, the Aedra are good and tend to help people who worship them. That is just the way I see it.
But that's just the Imperial's way of dividing up "good" and "bad" gods by calling the ones you like "gods", and the ones you don't "daemons". They're cut of the same cloth, mostly, but the Divines are not just the Earth Bones, but also include the likes of Talos, who had nothing to do with creation, while Lorkhan/Shor did, but is not considered a "Divine" by Imperial standard.
Isn't this just saying you just don't like Imperial religion? Why not approach the other belief systems, such as the dunmer's belief system, which includes Azura as a god.
