Hey guys!

I started playing The Elder Scrolls back in 2002 with the release of Morrowind. MW is definitely my personal favorite thus far. I am undecided about my preference between Oblivion and Skyrim, though I do currently lean towards Skyrim as my second fav!

I was really wondering how people rated the games. I am especially interested in how people rate Arena and Daggerfall on the list because I do not have much experience with them. I have played Daggerfall, but barely.

Feel free to discuss why you rank each game preferentially, and I would be elated to hear your full preference. Please bump I want to get as many responses as I can!

My first game in the series was Daggerfall, i've got very fond memories of it. When Morrowind was first released i was kinda dissappointed that it wasn't more like Daggerfall (especially armor/clothes wise).

Skyrim just skyrocketed to the top for my personally, dethroning Daggerfall (finally). Morrowind takes a close third as it's still a stonking great game.

Skyrim is everything i want in an Elder Scrolls game. Superb game.

Oblivion was my first ever Elder Scrolls game, and i don't care what people say i love it, great game.

Morrowind took me a while to get into but once i did i found it enjoyable to an extent, some awesome stuff in that game, and a fantasy environment like no other.

Skyrim seems to be my favorite, so far. Next is Morrowind (my first ES), then Oblivion. I haven't played Daggerfall enough to honestly rank it with the others. Hated having to enter a paragraph of code every time I wanted to play the game, especially since I don't really play games for more than maybe 2 hours at a time.

I'm beginning to feel that Skyrim is now my favorite in the series. My second choice is tough. Modded, I'd say Oblivion. Vanilla, I'd say Morrowind.

I have no desire to play either Arena or Daggerfall.

Awesome so far.

Morrowind had the champion spot till Skyrim.

Skyrim is just astounding though.

#1 Daggerfall, always been, always be my favourite.
#2 Oblivion, which plays nice but is story-wise below:
#3 Morrowind, which has a solid, immersive lore, but is far too tedious to play. A decent game, but sadly the only one in the series that I NEVER replay. And I replay Arena.

That said, I havent tried Skyrim yet.
