As my name suggests i have an interest in House Dres, their ways and customs, however i don't know enough. In game its Telvanni every time. A lot of their quests are annoying (i find their stronghold easily ten times harder than either other house to put together due to its remote location, the need for 2 soul gems to be filled [nightmare if your conjuration is low like me] and the quest in Galom Deus). However, i find that their iconoclastic, unconventional methods, hatred for the annoying, rule-loving mages guild wimps, lack of bounding moral codes and libertarian "take what you want" stance to fit in with most of my characters. They have a much freer reign than the other 2 houses, who are bound up in rules and traditions and bend over for the empire.
Also, Telvanni mods >>>> other house mods. BuUL + UL + RoHT = amazing fleshed out Telvanni story, big decisions that make you FEEL like you are actually running a house, loads of new quests, huge brilliant tower and my own town to boot. :foodndrink:
Saying that, i wish someone would do the same for Hlaalu. As the house of opportunity and fortune, i cant fathom why the Grandmaster would just sit on his [censored] once he gets there. I would imagine him forming and breaking alliances, getting his fingers in plenty of pies, having a huge manor with grounds, plantations, maybe an Ebony mine with some quests attached to it, choice to either take over the Commana Tong and take it in Dren;s direction or move it in the modernised Imperial direction. Ah, i can dream.
