I am going to be going over all the settlements in separate videos,but im curious what settlements i should start with, and which ones i might want to put towards the end?

Spectacle Island is huge. Very huge. Maybe not the best to start with if you're low on crafting materials. but in my opinion the most interesting.


Sanctuary is actually a good one to start with. It looks a lot like a normal street to many of us. Maybe it's better to start with something familiar?

For me that use the settlement system more for making a home base, red rocket truckstop hands down, has all the crafting stations for free, easy to defend and thematically fitting for the kind of gearhead character I like to play.

The Castle, once you rebuild the walls the place is just absolutely insane, defense and beauty wise.

Castle, you can stuff most stuff inside the ready made rooms have an house for myself else everything else is in the walls.

My only issue is that I also have it as much of an hub for caravans, this make a lot of caravans on the road to it making friendly fire during defences an issue.
