What's your favorite weapon to use?

Post » Sat Feb 27, 2016 6:23 am

ha nice, I'm partial to the furious power fist myself...haven't come up with a clever rename yet.

I also like the standard sight bull barrel .44 because it has that raw power feel without any fancy crap.

I use mods so, so far my favorite is the M2216, but I just got a M14 mod so we will have to see how that does too.

Yeah, it reminds me of the Mass Effect rifle.

Fav weapon to use is the hunting rifle, with the following upgrades/perk:

  • .50 receiver

  • Long light barrel

  • Marksman's stock

  • Large quick eject mag

  • Reflex sight dot

  • Suppressed

  • Rank 4 Rifleman

Early in the game, I made a wrong turn into a pack of feral ghouls in the city and they mauled me to death. Since than, I carry 20+ plasma mines and 1 bottlecap mine for emergency use only.

  • Rank 4 Demolition Expert

Suppressed 10mm pistol (non automatic) with related sneak perks, you get one bad ass killing weapon. I don't even use a legendary pistol, just one I loot off of an enemy.

Tactical .308 long ported recoil compensated stock combat rifle. Its the closest thing to a battle rifle in this game.

Assault Rifle. I could toss the rest, but ammo is a problem then. I really carry a variety of guns to use up available ammo.

I use a short or medium scope and I can engage multiple targets without ever coming out of scope mode. I can put many rounds into a small area and it's my favorite.

My level 3 character with Gun Nut is fond of her Marksman's Heavy Automatic Pipe Rifle.

True, it doesn't do much damage and uses ammo up quickly but its only .38 which is everywhere, has decent range, good accuracy and totally outclasses her current foes.

It'll do until she funs a real automatic weapon.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

That small chance to hit someone really far is so worth it when it happens.

I like to use the cryo grenades when swamped with enemies that are using missile launchers. Does 151 damage, and I can usually finish them off with one shot from my modified 44 Revolver I renamed my big ass .44. Before I got a combat rifle that also does 15 points of fire damage I used to really like using a modified pipe pistol that did bonus 15 fire damage, with a 48 round magazine it was a cool little gun to use for up close and personal mag dumps.

Depends on the build, really.

For my two stealth characters, I tend to gravitate towards Tinker Tom's Special and Deliverer.

For my main, the big bad Sentinel of Steel.. His power armor is his weapon with Telsa Fists... Highly satisfying.

My .44 is named "The Rick Grimes"

Even though his is a .357 it looks just like the .44 in game.

I love shotguns and hunting rifles, and for melee serrated combat knives are king. Bats are fun to use too.

The three I always carry are the l'Fuisile Terrible, the Spray and Pray( love those exploding .45 slugs) and a rapid (113RPS) fully modded assault rifle. Usually give an armor piercing auto night scoped AR to my companion to carry if I need it. I keep the heavy stuff Fatman, 4 tube missle kauncher, etc., in a box at Sanctuary so I can run back and get it if I need to.

The Spray and Pray can take down a Deathclaw or a Mirelurk Queen in a heartbeat. It's also good at night because the exploding slugs will illuminate the area around your target for a short time.

For the longest time, it has been a heavily modded "Instigator" assault rifle, and/or a heavily modded "Incendiary" Gauss Rifle.

Then it was "Count Quesoverde", my automatic "Two Shot" plasma rifle.

But a heavily modded and suppressed Spray n' Pray is actually a lot of fun now that I've ditched the power armor and am back to wearing the Silver Shroud.

For me, it is a toss-up between a Legendary Modified Two Shot Suppressed 10mm Non-automatic Pistol or the Two Shot Railway rifle. Either one in sneak mode is a weapon to be reckoned with.

My .44 Revolver. It has the fire effect. I love using it VATS just because of seeing the slo-mo fire effect.

Suppressed Overseers Guardian in .308.

Last Minute.

Explosive Shotgun.

Total buyer's regret on Spray and Pray SMG.

Broadsider and Cryogun! Hands down my two favorite and now that I have over 1000 ammo in each, it makes it fun to just carry these two! :jammasterjay:

Best weapon is fully modded combat rifle. It does sniping and medium range equally well.

My favorite, though, is an automatic pipe rifle. I love wasting baddies with my homemade P.O.S. =)
