What's your favorite weapon to use?

Post » Sat Feb 27, 2016 5:36 am

I never really tried using or attached mods to make my weapons automatic, but I picked up a exploding automatic 10MM pistol and I love using that thing. It is so much fun. That thing will knock enemies back 10 feet or so. So what is your favorite weapon to use and why?

Always seem to fall back on Deliverer. Such an effective pistol that can fire as fast as I can pull the trigger.

Just got an exploding hunting rifle. I rechambered it to .38 because I have almost 20k rounds of .38. Modded for range with a dot sight. Now I'm like "this is a .38 exploding hunting rifle the most powerful .38 rifle in the commonwealth it'll take your head clean off. Now I know what you're thinking did he fire 10 shots or only 9, do you feel lucky?

Plasma Institute Automatic rifle.

They may be bulky, but I love the look of the Institute's rifles.

Man, there is nothing more satisfying than throwing a well aimed frag grenade taking out several enemies, and then cleaning up the residue with a spiked baseball bat! I made video on youtube of my funniest example yet.

Buuut, I'm not very far into the game so I'm sure I'll find something even better down the line.

I love my special gauss rifle that does extra limb damage. Forgot the original name, but renamed it Amputator. Does 400 or so damage and can do 6 X sneak damage. And just when you think it can get any more fun, I recently found out you can hold down the trigger and power it up for extra damage I assume.

I mainly use a modded combat rifle as a DMR, but don't hesitate to pull out my explosive round sub machine gun or a Bigboy when needed.

I am glued to my two top tuned .308 snipers.

One with ordinary daylight scope and one with nightvision. With everything maxed out you can kill nearly everything before running out of health. It's so rapid I almost can't believe it.

And then there is my Deliverer of course for narrow indoors fun.

.50 Cal Recon Sniper - Instigator - silenced - Named "Reacher"

10mm Recon Two Shot- silenced - Named "Ten Mike Mike"

Deliverer - silenced - AP out the wazoo

44 Mag - Two Shot - Loud! - Named "Dirty Harry"

Combat Shotgun - Stagering - silenced - Named "Bertha"

I mix things up from time to time, but the Sniper, 10mm, Deliverer, and combat shotgun are almost always with me.

All of the sci-fi weapons are great fun; the Laser Musket, Gauss Rifle, and modded Lorenzo's Artifact gun are probably my favorite.

The Deliverer for up close and personal. A suppressed .50 sniper rifle for less intimate encounters.

A fully modded Assault Rifle. NOT any Automatic mod. If it has any Legendary attributes, even better. It doesn't waste ammo like Automatics does. A Long Recon Scope puts 80 aimed shots on target waaaayyyyy over there. (When usually even as few as 10 shots will take down a Legendary Mirelurk Queen.) I usually don't even bother with VATS; just zoom in and start pulling the trigger.

Recently: Never Ending Gamma Gun with Lorenzo's Artefact

For comedy: Broadsider, makes me laugh every time I VATS someone's head. Useless without VATS though.
