What's your favorite weather?

Post » Thu Oct 14, 2010 1:35 am

I tried to include as many options in the poll as I could think of without getting incredibly specific. I hope it's as comprehensive as I think it is.

Anyways, my favorite types of weather are Sunshowers because they have a "Light at the end of a dark road" kind of feeling... it's really nice along with the smell of fresh rain Mmmmm. I also like cloud cover with no precipitation, I love the gloomy feeling it seems to portray (at least to me).

I also love days where there's a light warm breeze that feels kinda like someones breath.

So what're your favorite types of weather?

A light amount of snow. I am really not a big fan of the sun.

I ticked three because I'm greedy. :P

Any type of sunny weather: I'm not a sunbather at all, but I do get this seasonal affective disorder malarky and the sight of bright sunshine (even while I'm indoors) cheers me up. And if not that, then thunderstorms are always good fun, so them too.

Cloud cover with no precipitation, and preferably no wind either.

Everything but clammy and extreme weather. I've never witnessed truly extreme weather though, so I might like that as well. Favourite might be heavy rain. Although, today is a lovely sunny day. Little cloud cover, not too hot. It's been pleasant the past few days and I like it.

Basically everything but sunny. Sunny clear days with no clouds are the most boring weather ever. I adore rain storms, wind, and big cumulonimbus clouds.

I like snow too. Gives me cause to wear sweaters, scarves, mittens, wool socks, and drink hot chocolate and tea all day long. ^_^

I love thunderstorms, or just rain in general. Sunny clear days are good too, but typically not something I wish for unless I have something planned outside that day.

I like sunny days. Warm cloudy days. Days when there's a chance for severe weather and when we can actually get some.

I like a good moderate rain, not a light drizzle or heavy rain.....juuuuust right.

A close second is a nice summer day, somewhat hot to warm.

I hate cold though, screw you father winter!

I absolutely love how people from Yorkshire (and some other places) talk. It's such an art. (No sarcasm.)

I chose both sunshowers, and light snow. What can I say, I am weird. I don't really like that heat so I feel that this is a good mix of my wants. Neither make it that hard to be outside, but at the same time I am always staying cool. This would work perfect for me I think. Besides, both of them would make it interesting to take a walk in.

This.

In general, I'm content as long as there isn't snow on the ground, I hate snow (lucky me who lives north of the arctic circle), and it's at least warm enough so that I don't have to wear a jacket.

I voted sunny w/clear skies. Michigan sees enough of all the other alternatives.

I don't particularly care, as long as its warm (mid 70s-80s). Sunny with some clouds is always nice, and I do enjoy a warm rain.

Seems like I'm in a bit of a minority here, but I love extreme weather and thunderstorms, assuming I'm not facing imminent danger. In New Jersey, there's rarely imminent danger the likes of which Florida sees, so I love hurricanes (or the remnants of those that hit us) and thunderstorms. Just raw, awesome power.

Sunny and windy. Sunshowers are nice too, love that smell just after it stops raining on a warm day.

The smell given off by April showers is wonderful. Sadly, we haven't had too many this year, but they're marvellous things when they happen. Provided you're indoors at the time!
