What is your favourite city in Skyrim?

Hey guys, so far after about 20 hours I have visited nearly every city in Skyrim and by far Solitude is my favourite. What's yours?

My favourite one is Solitude...Markath is too "industrial" for my char. Windhelm too depressing. Winterhold even more depressing. Riften is basically the Bravil of Skyrim, Morthal and Falkreath are OK but maybe too rustic for my taste, and Whiterun is OK, but I hate dead grass-like (aka, yellowish) fields.

I also like Dawnstar, mostly because of it's situation on the north and near the shore.

Definately Whiterun for me. It's small enough, and large enough, at the same time. I get everything I need here and don't have to run around a lot to reach it either.

I like Riften, everything is pretty easy to find and the house is fantastic.

Riften. I love the feel of a rural town that is much more than it seems. Two cities for the price of one with the Ratway.
Second is Whiterun.

I'm just looking for something with atmosphere and these two cities have tons of it.

I'm a Whiterun lover myself. The place has TWO blacksmith forges. Everything is nice and easy to find unlike Windhelm. Not to mention Windhelm feels so depressing. Riften is nice but nothing is more annoying than running around too fast and ending up down in the water. Another great thing about Whiterun is its central location on the map. You can get anywhere fairly easily on foot from Whiterun.

Whiterun I guess, everything except the enchanting table is right outside my front door.

I don't think any of the settlements really qualify as cities though, they are tiny. Looking forward to Arthmoors Open Cities for this, I cant see them adding all that much strain to the system load.

Visually, I think Markath is the most appealing. I like the Dwemer ruin style.
