What is your favourite Dragon Priest?

Post » Sat Aug 03, 2013 5:11 am

To be fairly honest, I don't even know if he is undead. His model is completely different, and as you said, he was in a foreign dimension. Who knows how time is sorted in a Daedric Plane? Maybe several Eras here are just a blink of second in there... Maybe Mora sustained Miraak, I don't know, but I know his model is completely different of the model of a regular Dragon Priest, and for that reason, I don't find it fair to put him here. Also I stated Dragon Priest on old Nordic Barrows, so only the regular ones are allegeable to voting.

Well, the Isles are impossible to even foresee a couple seconds in the future, simply because of the bizarre, crazy nature of Sheogorath. I don't think you can compare time between Daedric Realms... The Lords are way too different, but hey, who knows.

Glad to hear it.

He was stuck in Apocrypha, not the Madhouse.

Shhh, don't step out of character. Now when I think of Hevnoraak, I think of you...

Still disappointed with the last fight though, went down with 3 vampire's bane shots. And after I got myself all hyped up. Even had a ward in my left had 'cause I thought you would cast all that lightning you did last time.

First rules apply to all Daedric realms, then only specific ones? Intredasting.

The problem is that Miraak might be daedric in nature. Remember Umaril?

I don't buy it. The mortals Hermaeus personally touches turn into Seekers. I think he can't do much of anything to a Dragonborn, which is why he finds the idea of having one in his pocket so appealing.

Im all fairness, can you even compare the Isles with Apocrypha? The Isles had houses and TONS of inhabitants... Apocrypha is a place where we've seen only Daedra in it, it's not a place where regular people go. You can't simply compare the two of them... Just like Coldharbour is a copy of Tamriel, but all twisted... Every Daedric Realm is unique and not related to each other.

I think he can do it to a Dragonborn. But like you said, it maybe appealing to have one.

If you really want to discuss this, then the lore forums are the best bet.

He can't do much to a Dragonborn? I would disagree with you (he even killed Miraak)... He is a Daedric Lord.... he is way above petty humans! A Dragonborn is but a mere shadow of Akatosh... The divines are "mortals" by nature, but the Daedra are immortal, and they are both beings that are above humans.

Morokei. Dem stats. Especially useful for a Nord mage, who's a bit behind stats-wise.

Most of the time your roleplay doesn't make any sense. A barbaric, authoritarian dragon priest complaining about Nord cruelty and crying over the fate of elves.

That's my personal opinions, not RP. You know I'm RP'ing when I text in iron. Or when I'm talking about modern day savage Nords, evil and wicked Valdar, and the good old days.

LOL at Evil and Wicked Valdar... I think it's the other way around Hevnoraak... But if I could aid you instead of Valdar with my necromancer characters, I wouldn't think twice xD

The Dragonborn is Lorkhan incarnate, ye know.

Actually the LDB is but I dunno about Miraak.

Hey Hevnoraak, after I am done with Morokei I am going to come and duel you for your mask. Morokei is such a coward, Krosis had more balls than Morokei for the simple fact that Krosis decided to have his casket on a mountaintop in the open.

Indeed. Friggin, pretty boy conceited Morokei. Serves him right for interrupting my speeches. He thought he was so cool. Him and his stupid "Aedric" artifact that he would never stop boasting about while staring at his reflection in the water. What a weirdo. Even Volsung was creep-ed out by him.

I've never heard of that... All I know is that Alessia made a covenant with Akatosh and was bestowed with the Dragon Blood, even though Miraak came first. Still, Dragonborn is a mortal. Mora is a Daedric Lord. I think he can pretty much make any DB his little housemaid lol

Poor Miraak, YOU ARE THE LAST ONE ON MY LIST! First I will equip a mask and then random equip another during the fight, then I am going to take a huge cheese wheel and smack you across the face with it, and finally I am going to Spartan kick you in the face.

Favorite Dragon Priests for me are defo Hevnoraak and Krosis.

Least favorite?

Defo Miraak, that guy has an extreme case of hubris.

This is slightly off topic, so I apologize.

Spoiler
I wrote this out at 4:41 am on a Tuesday morning. I imagine that I've forgotten some points.

The main character's destiny is to join with Talos and part of doing that is putting the Elves in their place. A few bullet points:

-Lorkhan is observed to put his entirety into his avatars. Shor is missing from his hall.

-Shor ordered the hall closed and it has been so for a very long time. How do we know this? Because High King Torygg has yet to be allowed across the Whalebone Bridge and his death is long before Alduin's return.

-Tiber Septim was a Shezzarine and the ghost of Old Hroldan recognizes you as Hjalti.

-When sent to claim the Jagged Crown, the item is an equipable headpiece. A lot of quest items go into the misc section.

-The PC is the Last Dragonborn. Consider that there is only one letter left to fulfill Lorkhan's name:
http://www.uesp.net/...Lore:Shezarrine

When asked about Lorkhan and his avatars, developer Michael Kirkbride presented the following list. All items of the list are names, surnames, pseudonyms, or titles of people (notably Tiber Septim) suspected to be a part of the enantiomorphic "Oversoul" that is believed by some to constitute the deity known as Talos.[10][OOG 2]
1. Wulfharth L
2. Hjalti O
3. Ysmir R
4. Talos K
5. Arctus H
6. Septim A
N

-Characters who become part of Talos replicate Lorkhan's life. We just so happen to be doing this right now.

-The PC can sit in Shor's throne. TES doesn't let you sit in godly thrones without having a good reason.

-The legend prophesizing the Last Dragonborn's unveiling deals in the Towers that the Thalmor want to destroy - towers that are linked directly to Talos and his keeping of the current Kalpa. This is not a coincidence, infact the elder Scrolls rarely have coincidences.
When Misrule takes its place at the eight corners of the world
When the Brass Tower walks and Time is reshaped
When the Thrice Blessed fail and the Red Tower Trembles
When the Dragonborn Ruler loses his throne, and the White Tower Falls
When the Snow Tower lies Sundered,Kingless and Bleeding
The World Eater wakes, and the Wheel turns upon the Last Dragonborn.

-Tullius and Ulfric fit the bill for Tiber's Arcturis and Wulfharth. In Miraak's and the Last Dragonborn's encounter, Miraak fits the bill for Wulfharth and Hermaeus Mora for Arcturis. The LDB repeats the entantiomorphic event that leads to Talos's creation twice!

-The Shezzarine is the hero of mankind and never has mankind needed a hero more than this moment in history, where the Thalmor are poised to unmake Mundus if they get their way.

Vahlok, that dude's dedicated as [censored]. I almost feel bad you have to kill him, he could have totally helped you with Miraak.

Krosis has the best name though. Want to strike fear into the hearts of your enemies? Just name yourself "Sorrow."

Hevnoraak. He has a very nice, and unique Staff, and Valthume has quite the selection of Ebony Weapons and Armor for the discerning Adventurer to aquire.
