This applies to every single physical weapon in the game (no mods).

You could be an escaped, insane convict stabbing everyone with a shiv, or a deranged hunter who cannot kill a deer, so he hunts weak humans with his longbow, or you might be a blood-thirsty knight smashing people to bits with your dragonbone warhammer.

The choice is yours...

Personally, my favourite weapon thus far is the Enhanced Crossbow (I haven't gotten far enough in the DG story, yet) because I'm a marksman at heart, I love the satisfaction of making a decent shot, and I like the elemental bolts.

Nothing that exists in the vanilla game. I recall a weapon mod by Jaysus that had a sword in it and the hilt was this statue of Dibella, looked rather elegant and awesome. It felt almost like a rapier or a fencing blade.

The long bow for its speed and simplicity, and how it compliments the live-off-the-land wood elf characters I play. I like the Bow of the Hunt too. Fitting for a skilled wood elf.

Stalhrim sword because I like the way it looks.

Haven't gotten it yet, but I have a character who is trying to obtain the Bloodskal blade. It looks awesome and has a very unique enchantment.

for style... the nordic weapons (ancient, nord, carved..) with the lovely celtic inspired work on them

Some good choices here, guys. Thanks for your inputs. I'm glad that everyone didn't swarm over the usual daedric weapons, and overpowered stuff.

I also agree that the Longhammer should be unique. There are 'unique' weapons that have a special ability, but don't look any different, but I wish they did!

Nordic Sword - Love the curved sabre design

Imperial Bow - Nothing beats the basic

Longbow - Basic is beauty

Steel Greatsword looks really intimidating Everytime I see that my enemy is busting out their Greatsword I'm like "Run, Forrest, Run"

Whenever I play my hands-on 2 handed heavy armor warrior, that is my weapon of choice

But my favourite weapon in the game is Auriel's Bow It looks good and, a modder as I am, is one of the stronger bows in the game.

I really agree with you there. I love the Iron Sword.

A bastard sword, guy, eh? I haven't seen that bow, yet, but I'm very interested.

It's also the trickiest ranged weapon in the game!

Dragonbone axes because they go fantasticly well with my native american character aswell as the dragonbone shield because its the best kite looking shield there is.

Steel Greatsword, Nordic and Dwarven Quarterstaff (Heavy Armory mod), and Imperial Bow.
