What's your favourite potion?

Alchemy is a great skill, but for someone like me,who dips in and out of the game depending on spare time and that,it can be a pain remembering successful combinations.Find a great mixture, make a batch, come back a few weeks later, cannot remember how to make it again.Because of this, one thing i would love to see in game is a proper notebook that stores successful recipe's for you, maybe also notes down the names of trainer location and other information like that too. This is something that your character should know, but you yourself can easily forget,so it's not game breaking, just re-education.I also feel,on entry to the Arcane University, little tips could have been part of the random speech between NPC's,and more formula parchments could have been left lying around in random places(they all seem to be restore fatigue),to help out the slightly doddery, like myself.I'm bringing this up because I've had to go on-line and use an alchemy calculator to speed up the process of mixing potions my character already knew how to make, but I'd forgotten to.I make them in bulk, because it's a long laborious process, and as infrequently as possible, because it's a long, laborious, boring process.Anyway, apologies if i've posted this in the wrong segment, but here's my favourite brew

Aloe Vera + Stinkhorn + Bog beacon/Steel Blue Entoloma + Cairn Bolete/Lavender.This makes a restore magica and health + invisibility potion,so you can sneak away and regenerate until you're ready to enter the fray once more.

Aravi's favorite potion (my Khajiit character) is one that provides lots of protection.

At her skill level it gives Frost Shield 28% for 93 seconds and Shield 39% for 129 seconds. It has one negative effect and that is Burden 1 point for 1 second. I don't remember exactly how it was made, but I know it involved a potato.

Nice trick  . Me, my favourite and one I always carry isn't actually a potion but an ingredient. Mandrake roots cure all non quest related diseases, even the one that leads to becoming a vampire after 3 days. Always get a chuckle that you can buy them for a couple of gold from the same alchemy vendors that sell Cure Disease potions for over a hundred.

Some poisons I like:

Bergamot, Imp Gall, Motherworth, Spiddle Stick - great against spell casters like Goblin Shamans and Necromancers - Silence, Damage Magicka, Damage Health, Fire Damage

Lady Smock, Lilly Nectar, Motherworth, Primrose - great against Melee'er Like Warloards - Damage Fatigue and Damage Strength

Damage Speed poisons are great too, very powerful. (like Boar Meat and Peony)

Favorite potions include some heavy fortify magicka and restore willpower, but I am forbidden by my character to specify what ingredients are being used :P

Shield potions work fine too
