Argonians as long as I can have them black/red. The other look silly. But the black/red look cool.

Argonians, High Elves, and Morrowind-style Dunmer.

Nord and Imperial, can't really figure out why. I have just always played as one or the other. In Morrowind I liked playing an Imperial since I thought it was weird that the Dunmer savior so-to-say was actually a foreigner and not even an ordinary one but a member of the race that that made Morrowind part of the Empire. And I play Nords since they are huge imposing awesome warriors.

EDIT: Whats up with the Cyrodil and Imperial choices, either I'm wrong or they are the same thing.

Khajiiti, but you could probably guess that.

Their entire culture is just so fascinating to me.

First, Bretons, a nice mix with the blood of early Nords and Elves in them.
And I like their magical touch.

Second, I like Nords, for their look and culture.

Third, Redguard, there is a certain mystique.

So I voted for all three.

Argonian ; because they a pretty unique race, and I love reptiles.

Khajiit ; Again a pretty unique race.

Altmer ; I like that they are these powerhouses, yet frail, sacrificed physical resistance, for greater potential magical power.

I like Orcs and Dunmer. Orcs are cool because they look bad ass and have bad ass names. And Dunmer are cool because they are blue, there voices rule and they kick major ass on the four low know what I am saying? Lol.

Khajiit because I LOVE playing as a cat person. Shallow yes, but it's the truth. If I tried to explain it I'd sound dopey. I mean having a tail, ears, and snout like that looks awesome! How would it feel to have all that, have claws, better smell and hearing, etc? It's very interesting to me, and it helps I love cats in real life.

If I had to pick another I think I'd choose the Bretons. There's just something I like about the "delicate but magically powerful" thing.

I like the dunmer. Their culture in Morrowind was quite......unique. But i didn't get to play as one of them, for the fact that the nerevarine was an outlander, i ended up playing as an imperial.

I enjoy mainly Bretons, Nords, and Bosmer. Not that I dont like the other races (Argonian, Khajiit, and Dunmer culture are all very interesting) its just that those are usually all I play. Plus, I am very thickly Celtic and Scandinavian so Bretons and Nords fit me well.

dark elves. I loved them in morrowind because most of them were different to the usual haughty and poncy elves, they looked and sounded like a rugged people who had scraqed a living from the harsh land that was vvardenfell. I didnt like them as much in oblivion with their stuck up slightly nasaly voices and blue skin (instead of the cool ashen skin)

Welcome to the forum, have a http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/3943/fishystickcf7.jpg

I like Altmer.
I enjoy the fantastical side of fantasy and elves are less likely to 'really exist' than the man races.
The high elves in particular are very alien and strange and I very much enjoy roleplaying one.

Sometimes I like to vary with an Argonian.

Dunmer, Amazing culture, i love their dispositions, way of thinking, makes them stand out. And i love their look.

Second would be Nords, interesting culture as well, looking forward to seeing what they've come up with for them in Skyrim.

Dunmer and Khajiit, because their lore is most interesting, they seem most unique of the TES races, and because a lot of the most memorable characters in MW were of these races.

Orsimer. Half becuase they're natural smiths (and I like making things), and half because almost everyone else seems to hate them. I've always been more interested in the underdog so to speak.

I play an Orcish Spellsword, who's true to his heritage. He's a smith with a preference to Melee combat, although prefers a sword to maces (axes are cool too). He wears a mixture of armour depending on situation, varying from Leather (Cuirass/Greaves) and Iron (Gauntlets/Boots) for general travel, to his prized Orcish Plate.

In terms of magic he uses basic elemental destruction magics on touch, and basic restoration (only on self). He also enjoys Conjuration and Alteration (for those pesky locks and underwater tunnels). He also dabbles in Mysticism to fuel his passion for Enchanting (in his eyes, the magical version of smiting).

I guess I just like traditions of Orcs. Given the descriptions Orsinium it is my favourite city in Tamriel. Adding a magical hint to a traditionally non-magical race is also a fun way to play for me. I like proving pre-judgmental people wrong.

I've actually gotten a lot of enjoyment from playing all the races, but if I have to pick an absolute favorite?

A Nord is about the farthest thing from me physically that still remains human, so there's a bit of "look what I can do in this game that I could never do in real life" going on there. Playing a female Nord makes me think of what I'd have been like as a Valkyrie.

Argonians. I just love their lore, even if there isn't much. Also I have the same type of personality as them. The whole Hard to Know and Slow to Trust thing.
