Nord, started out as favoring argonians since they're so damn cool, but i was a kid back when i started playing morrowind, then when i actually started playing the game and not aimlessly wandering around the awesome world, it was the Nord that i played because they remind me of my own scandinavian flesh and blood and all that jive.

I feel if the Altmer were portrayed better and as the lore describes, they would have more votes.

"Tall, golden skinned slim people that look down on the other races"

They also use goblins as house slaves, cool eh?

Dunmer. Because they remind me of Drow and Drow are awesome. Except for Drizzt. God I hated that character.

I like the nords and the Bretons because they are both hero characters. Dark elves can't be heroes because they just scream evil. High elves can't be heroes because they are self-centered. Wood elves are too short and argonions and orcs are ugly. Redgaurds and imperials are ok but not my favorite.

I like Orcs always have, just glad that now I can actually look a little like I really imagined them, I like the mean, rough, i eat dead animals raw kind of character.

I stick with Bretons because I can't relate to having green scales or pointy ears. I realize I'm unique in that most people seem to enjoy the ability to role play these characters. I usually make my characters look as much like me as possible.

But I like Imperials, Khajiiti, Redguard, and Orsimer as well.

I go to Khajit just because I always go for that thief/archer/assassin. I feel like the Khajit plays that roll perfectly, or argonian too. I love that water breathing and resist disease/poison.

I've always been a Thief, an Archer, and a Wood Elf.

That was my first Character in Morrowind, and it worked very well for me.
Everywhere i went, i would steal to make my way.
And i very much enjoyed the Challenge of stealing from the Treasure-Houses of Redoran, Hlaalu and Tellivanni

That was actually one of my complaints about Oblivion. There wasn't enough worth-while stuff to steal.

I was always like..I thought Counts and Emperor's were supposed to have a Well-Guarded Treasury.

This is a hard choice for me (which just goes to show that ALL the races in this games are awesome in their own way).

The easiest way to decide is to just go by which I play the most, and that comes down to: Bretons, and Bosmer. For Morrowind and Oblivion I played Bosmer first as an assasin type, then i'll make a Breton sorceror (deadric armored wizards ftw!), but usually make a character of every race at some point.

I started with Morrowind, so my third favorite is probably Dunmer, because their culture was so strong and inspiring in that game.

I voted Breton only because I play a Breton mage most of the time, but I do use Argonians and Dark Elves quite often for stealth or battle mage character respectively.

My vote goes to Redguards because, Lore-wise, they are the most powerful beings sans Daedra. No other known beings have the power to basically destroy the world with one sword-technique and that is winz.

Gameplay-wise Dunmer.

But really it's a tie between Nords and Bosmer. Though I never played as them because their vanilla counterparts looked and sounded far too annoying. Shallow but true. Just couldn't play with the Nord's Tigger voice moaning and grunting all day or being a Bosmer Vegan Wiccan. Yech!

My favorite is probably an Orc. The one thing that annoyed me about them, is nords were better or the same in EVERY STAT. Even blunt. Anyway, they're pretty badass, and Berserk is so damn powerful.

Dark Elf because I red in Oblivion that Dark Elf's where specialist in combat and that in most wars they we're on the front-lines.
I think that makes them pretty strong and respected in some eyes.

I voted Dark Elf, my experience of their culture and mythos throughout the series but particularly in Morrowind makes them feel much more magical and fascinating to me.

I remember hearing Jiub's voice and I instantly loved Dark Elves.
