What is your gamerstyle.

Filler sounds most like me. Likable, somewhat-decent skill, doesn't care about competitive gaming.

More than one.
I'm your tank.
Your Guardian.
Your "For-the-Team" Guy.

But I'm always The Veteran.

I am the Radio and the Strategist
I'll tell you where they are; and how to flank, suppress and advance on them

I've got a fairly healthy mix of a few of them, with tiny bits of others.

I lead when a Leader is needed, dividing that into "Radio" and "Strategist" behaviors, but am certainly happy to play and lead by example. I work various roles dependant on team and game situations, but prefer a certain style over most, Prophet probably pinpoints my strongest strengths and some of my weakness. And I've certainly been know to do my share of "taking one for the team" as well.

I'm really more of a "Partner" player or "Big Brother". The most distinguishing trait being that I look out for, work with, and often sacrifice myself for a particular player. Who it is depends on the team and game types. Generally it's someone I know, except in the cases of Escort type missions where a particular player is needed.

Definitly more than one.

But I'd say the best that describes me is...

"The Strategist"
"The Prophet"
"The Radio"
"The For-the-team guy"
"The Leader"
"The Veteran" (Assuming that I become good at this game.)

For the most part my playstyle tends to be the Filler in team games - from Team Fortress to Battlefield, I quite often change role when my side most needs it, even if I'm hardly great with the lacking class in question. Not enough explosions? Gonna switch to a soldier or demoman. The entire team's forgotten how a medic works again? Hang on, I'll come back with the defibs.

Starting with what I feel describes me the best:

The Radio -> The "For-the-Team" Guy -> The Veteran -> The Leader -> The Filler (as play as playing whatever is needed).

Ummmmmmmmmmm. Since I never played online (and thus never played with lots of "human" people), I will rely on my offline co-op experiences in gaming instead.

I'm an okay player and I would do anything to help the team, so I would be a combination of: The Filler - The Basic and - especially the "I will commit suicide for you so you can complete this mission!", I mean, "For-The-Greater Good/Team" kind of gal. ^_^

I'm like a Star Wars Clone Trooper, lol! "Go on without me! I will take care of these guys even if I die in the end, but you must complete this mission!" *dies*

I am willing to rush in and take the enemies' heat from my sister in some games, lol. I am also willing to pick off anyone picking on her from a distance as well
and try my best to reach her and heal her (and she heals me back because I nearly die, too, lol).

I'm most like the prophet because I always get people around the corners with headshots and such. I always get called a hacker and and people always go "thats bullsh*t, how did you know I was there!"

I'd say I'm a mix between the whiner, and the radio. I use the mic... sometimes for the wrong reasons. A good example is in Halo: Reach, I use the jetpack and explain the areas that enemies are. But, if I get shot down by someone in Infection while they're hiding on top of Sword Base, and there is only one way to reach them and they are constantly guarding said path, well... I turn into the Whiner. :sadvaultboy:

I think I'm a cross between Prophet and For-the-Team. I do anything to ensure the team wins, even if it's going out of my way to defend a medic or chasing down a spy operative.

The Strategist (go step-by-step on where most the player will being flanking one another, pathways to walk by enemies undetected etc)
The Guardian (take a bullet or protect someone or a small group of players to completing a objective; watching someone's back while they plant the bomb)
The Lone Wolf (when I'm doing overall stealth maneuvers by myself)
The “For-the-Team” Guy (Work along with others)

im probably a cross between a gaurdian and a prophet. i can hold a position down like a beast, if i can get into the best places. i usually know where the other team is. i also am a crack shot (usually takes around a week to hone my skills with the game) that can destroy at range. but i by all means cannot be called consistant. chen i got my game on i destroy. if not im decent. i either contribute or dominate. it can be tought sometimes to get ra9ed on a bad game, but (depending on the quality of the FPS "cough" "cough" "black ops svcks" "cough") my great games usually make up for it.

First off I really like this topic and I like the descriptions of each gamer style. That being said I would attribute my self with the Prophet and the description really hits the nail on the head. The drawback for me is going to be that I like to know how others play and for a game so different like brink I dont know what to expect. Meaning that in a normal "refrigerator on wheels" shooter I would run behind a box then quickly double back but in brink if the norm becomes leaping on to the box its going to be a learning experience for me and is a driving reason that I am getting this game.

I must say, I'm likely a combination of the "For-the-Team" primarily and the "Radio" and "Strategist" to a lesser extent. I don't mind taking the assist role (I actually pride myself on Halo when I get assist sprees or wheelman sprees), and I don't mind calling everything I see that's important out. If nobody else is around to formulate a decent strategy and we have a team that actually listens, I can be the one who makes strategies (and have experience with doing so on many many inter clan scrims across various games).

Strategist, Prophet (they are basically the same) and For the team.
I usually play a strategic medic that uses a long range rifle, kills unwanted snipers, and plays a healer when needed.

I am a mix of many;

WHINER: I can't stand being noob tubed (only COD though, bfbc2 I did not mind grenade launchers), I can for the most part however respect a good kill when it is a good kill.
STRATEGIST: haven't had much chance to exercise this but I love doing this.
GUARDIAN: I can clear out a room quite easily but the more I kill in one place the less likely I move and I eventually die.
PROPHET: I will what some people call sound [censored] which I think is an unfair term for this tactic where as in real life I would use this skill to the same success/extent.

I am a mixture of the prophet, veteran, and the guardian. I was usually pulling clutch games with my buddies in MW2 and I was even better when I had a full squad in BFBC2. I have always tried to be the radio but when you play with a bunch guys that are veterans you barely have to point positions out. We did have the occasional lone wolf but he was good enough to distract the enemy to get others more kills.
