prophet/radio/guardian

pretty much its like this

I've played enough games to the point were(once i learn the map) i'll figure out were most are and head over there. If they arent there ill wait a short while(1-2 min.) before picking up camp and moving to another common spot that most other guardians hide out at. Radio cus if i die or i see to many for me to handle...expect me to "radio" them in

because ill be light most of the time expect me to radio in often

Whiner/Veteran/Baiter/Lone Wolf/The Guardian/The Prophet are those that fit my gamestyle. I do whine at times, but never over the mic, just at the TV when it gets a little frustrating to have a bunch of incompetent infidels in my heels. Under high pressure, say I have just joined a losing match, I primarily play as Baiter/The Guardian/The Prophet, as in I both protect and exploit my team. I make sure my team is always up and fighting (being a medic), whilst sacrificing them if necessary in order to get a tactical advantage that would help my team. I'm not exactly a 'teamplayer' although I help the team much more than most, but mostly because I need them alive because it complements my playstyle that they're distracting and drawing fire elsewhere. I'm a lone wolf; an SMG/Knife/Knowing-the-map kinda guy, and unless another player on my team plays exactly like me I won't receive any conscious help from my teammates. But in spite of all this, my communication is absolutely rubbish, but my influence in a game is definitely evident. I'm a veteran, but definitely no leader, I'd rather be a valuable asset for my leader.

Well to be honest I am more of the lone wolf type guy, but at the same time i always did objectives. i would just complete them by myself and not do them with the help of the team. In MW2 I would always just use a ninja class and run by myself to capture obj's, So I do help the team just not really by communication. Dont think of the lone wolf as a camper. I hate campers.

I'm a mixture of baiter and For the team. Basically have fun with explosives :nuke:

A few Lone wolves are ok, but a team of them is not a team lol

I don't mind any other play styles in other players, as long as they attempt to capture an objective/support others in doing so.
Camping is the only thing that annoys me. People camping on my side or the enemys just makes the game less fun.

The Guardian. But I don't consider myself a camper, I scout the area around a base from a safe position, that's all.

im a for the team guy and also a strategist. i like to plan things and also will do things for the team. I hate it when players just rush in and then 2 seconds later after they get 1 guy they die... badly... :gun:

id say a mix of, The Strategist, The Guardian, The “Radio”, The “For-the-Team” Guy. The Strategist because I will formulate a plan and then my buddies will execute it or give me feed back and i will come up with a new one. The Guardian not camping but more holding on to a choke point. The “Radio” well that one speaks for it self and works well when im am holding a choke point and some one gets through I call out and tell the team or tell them if they are taking an objective. The “For-the-Team” Guy not my favorite but if its down to the wire ill pull out a rush style game play and plant the bomb steal the flag what ever - Z

Definitely Guardian. I recognize good positions around defense objectives, and know the most likely spots for people to come from. And when they do come I can sometimes massacre an entire team before they know what happened. In BF:BC2 I can hold down a position single-handedly usually, using the cover around to flank and surprise enemies. In MW2 I can do pretty well in objective game types, often times destroying the entire team as they try to plant a bomb. The reason why I'm so good is probably due to my preference in equipment being damage and fire rate. In defense CQB is often the game, and being able get a kill them without notice (through use of distractions, grenades, mines, and silenced weapons) can often make or break a good defense.

That's why I'm often the guy BC2 sitting in the house by the objective that sprints out, guns someone down, then head straight to the next house to crouch in front of the window to gun down an entire squad. And, of course, I get messed up by the Lone Wolf a lot if they are good.

My would be "The for the team man", "The Guard" and maybe "The Leader" mostly because i realy like to play with my team mates and buff or heal them or defend a area for the team.

Am I the only 1 to pick the basic? ok I know im not a great gamer, i die pretty fast in most competitive enviroments. but in that way im also a filler/team guy since i know i'll probably die and i'm not exactly worried by my KD i often provide cover team mates or go on a suicide run to touch the flag etc.

In games where there is actual team work I am support. I love being a medic and having big guns with lots of ammo. I will gladly lay down cover fire and heal all day if it mean victory

Id say im a lone wolf. Mainly because I could never rely on my team in MW2, I got the most kills using my own tactics. I love team play, though. So im looking forward to that aspect of the game.

we should bring this post back up once people have played the game because im sure that, because thil will likely be the most team work based game they will have played, peoples playstyle is likely to change a slight bit

lol, "team" and "MW2" should never be used together.... Lone wolf tactics work so well n MW2, because the game rewards such behavior.

When a group of my friends and me are playing with mics and can give each other info and tell each other what to do, we always do really well. Its when im playing with random people over the internet that I cant rely on them, because nobody wants to play in a team. Even if lone wolfing it the best thing to do in MW2, if your team svcks, you svck.

Actually, MW2 is one of those games where 1 good player can usually carry the whole team.
