What's your gaming platform?

But its a fact that the Crysis franchise is more popular for pc gamers than for console gamers.
So i hope the pc gamers as the regular customers will get the extra attention they need in the future ;-)

I find it hilarious how the platforms getting the least attention seem to have the most potential customers. Meanwhile, Crytek/EA has been pumping millions of dollars into a seemingly small Xbox 360 community for this game.

Just goes to show that just because one platform may have more users, doesn't mean you will get more sales from it. ;)
This poll in the off-topic section of gamesas, with 50 votes, is hardly any representation of the Crysis 2 market...

If you were to put it on the front page of the EA/gamesas website you would likely get the same results. ;)

Just because its a smaller share of people does not mean it is not proportionate, although 100+ votes would clear up proportion problems better.

Maybe do a weekly poll again like old days and see the votes? I remember the old gamesas had a Crysis 2 platform poll and it was pretty much 98% PC, so it has evened out a little bit I guess. ;)

Marketing and publishing research goes well beyond the capabilities of an internet poll. One major point is that a significant portion of console gamers [people that will also buy Crysis 2 in the shops] probably don't frequent gaming sites, let alone this site, let alone vote in a poll. Of course any poll on a website which is formed from a majority PC gamer user base, given the title's pre-existing market, is going to be heavily biased towards the PC.

What you're suggesting is that during a Ferrari race day at the Ferrari race track in Ferrari Town, a bunch of Ferrari supporters are asked what the top 3 manufactures are: Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche and you're surprised that their answer is Ferrari? Let's not forget that there's a hundred million other car enthusiasts out there who may prefer Lamborghini or Porsche that aren't being asked.

Well, we shall see by release date what platform gets better sales. ;)

I think that if Crysis 2 has some good advertisemant of DX11 features and videos before release, that it will have a sale point similar to Bad Company 2.
