what your number 1

I like most that they tossed out the old leveling system.

I'm most concerned about the interface (specifically the alphabetical order without customization nature of the favorites menu).

Dragons are the #1 thing I like so far. Oblivion Gates for me were kind of... meh.

The only thing I dislike is not knowing what the game world looks like in moving pictures. Thats right I said it video please!!

I like that it's only nine months away.

I dislike that it's STILL nine months away!

But seriously,

I have liked pretty much everything that I have read about . . . Improved combat, dragon shouts, perks, new engine, radiant AI improvements, radiant story (if done correctly it will be pretty sweet), the lore, the language, dragons, etc. etc. et cetera! It looks like Bethesda is taking a step in the right direction. When I am finally playing the game I am sure there will be things that I believe could have been handled differently, but I am 100% certain that I will play the crap out of Skyrim regardless.

I could wish it would support DX11 just for the improvement to the visual aesthetics, but I won't hold my breath, and the lack of DX11 will not RUIN anything for me because I am certain given Bethesda's track record that the gameplay will be enthralling!

The game is less than a year away!

Is that a like or a dislike? :P

I like the sound of the 'radiant story', though I'm still pretty skeptical about it. The UI looks like it could be very annoying, but I'm going to have to see it in motion before judging it fully.

What I first thought of is the barmaid, but after reflecting on it for a moment I guess it's the promise of "uniquer" environments.
What I don't like (so far that is): too many things to come up with a number one frankly.

Nordic setting.

That I wish I had only found that this was coming out a couple of weeks before release.

Pet hates:
* World size too small combined with fast travel as only fast method of getting around.
* Lack of ability to take notes, place post-it markers (with text info), draw on map, sortable dialog records.

Pet likes:
* The overhauled combat and magic system.
* A "complete" character that remains well defined even at high levels, rather than being god like.

Not sure which of these I regard as "number one", so...

The number 1 thing I like about Skyrim is the fact that the game exists. The number 1 thing I hate is that its not in the Black Marsh.

Number one thing I dislike: The possibility of no spell making (well it's a tie with Nords)

Number one thing I like: Overhauled magic system

so far? the fact that it will only be as large as OB, smaller actually since there will be a bunch of mountains. Todd said that climbing them would make the map seem larger because it took longer to get to places, yeah, thats moronic. I don't feel satisfyed when it takes me twice as long to cover the same distance.

The game is less than a year away!

I liked how you answered both questions. lol

So near yet so far....

Like the most - Its hard to choose. New combat system? Leveling system. Its a tie between these two.

Like least - No actual spears.

Love how the game looks and how they say it will be played. Hopefully I like those as much after release :D

Hate all the ungrateful people who only come here to [censored] and moan about things they know won't change and just [censored] whine about it just because.

Like: The fact that Skyrim is being made.
Like: The setting makes me very happy, can't imagine any other now.

The list could continue...I would like to play Skyrim now, but sometimes anticipation is good, and I can wait while the devs polish and refine.

I would like to see the demonstration material that the GI staff was privileged to observe.

As of now, no negatives to report

Love pretty much everything I heard about the game.

Hate the possibility of quest target and notable place markers on the compass, and the possibility of lack of in-game travel facilities.
