I'm a former xbox owner and a current ps3 owner. I first played OB on my old 360, got every achievement, etc. Needless to say I loved that game. So when I got my ps3 (which I got because my xbox had red ringed too many times and it was the last straw) imagine my surprise when the OB ps3 version didn't even have any trophies or anything to achieve. I know Bethesda prefers the Xbox when it comes down to it so I was wondering if I should buy a new Xbox so that I'll have one come the time this game comes out. Do the xboxes still have major technical problems or no?
You could just stick with your PS3 and save money. I think PS3 has trophies too. If your worried about the DLC,then maybe xbox. I don't think we know what bethesda is going to about DLC this time, but if microsoft has their way,the DLC will be on xbox first. It seems to be a trend now. As to the technical problems of xbox, well, thats got better. The new xbox would be the better choice,if decide to buy one, they are quieter, and i and friends ( touch wood ) have had no problems yet. Also putting games on the hard-drive was a godsend fot the 360. I'll not lie,i have had alot of xbox's since 2005 up untill now. Before i bought my new 250Gb xbox i had an elite. I had that elite for two and a half years. I put almost every game on my hard-drive,thats why i believe the xbox lasted aslong as that. If you are comfortable with PS3 stick with it...Do you prefer PS3 onlly games,or xbox only games, which console have most of your friends got?
Either console will be fine, but if your worried about DLC,then maybe xbox,we'll see what bethesda does. I think everyone ( no matter the platform ),should get the DLC at the same time,it's only fair. But you could also argue that, if microsoft are willing to spend money to make money, sony should do the same,DLC wise...it's just the way business is. My persomal opinion though,is everyone should get DLC and at the same time,we all buy the game,so why not. The xbox's don't RRoD the same anymore, but like anything electrical, be it a TV,Toaster or console, things can go wrong. If you want to save money keep your PS3 and wait to see what bethesda does regarding DLC.
I've tried to be fair here, and not be biased...Hope i've helped
