What's your platform of choice?

Post » Thu Jan 28, 2010 2:45 pm

First off did a search and didn't see any other polls asking this so I thought I might as well, now if I for some reason missed that send me a PM with a link to it and I'm sure a mod will close thread quite quickly.

Secondly I know there's a whole Steamworks debate going on and what not, but if that is a debate you want go to that respective thread please, I'd rather not this was closed because of starting a similar discussion.
So for the intent of this poll let's say you will not need Steam for the boxed PC version at the same time also distributed on Steam for those that prefer that.

I'll go PC either way, Steam's not even an issue. I like the mods and being able to play it on a laptop.

I think this will get locked because it'll just start a flame war.

And it's not really about Skyrim (sort of I guess, but not really.)

In any case, I'm getting it for the xbox 360, though I would LOVE to have it for the PC.

I'm a PC player. I enjoy modding my games, but even without that option, I would stick with PC.

If I get a good PC, I'll get it on that incase I find the staggering frustrating. I'll get the collectors edition on PS3 and the PC version if I have to.

Edit: I didn't know i was quoting Him.

I've always been a console gamer, never have been as good at playing games with keyboard/mouse than a controller lol.

I'm a converted xbox gamer since 3/4 years.

I always play the games on xbox first, then I decide if buy or not for pc also, in that case I have to love the game very much.

I did it for Fallout 3 very gladly, I own 4 copies, 3 for xbox (standard, goty, collector's) and 1 for pc.

Used to be 360 + PC, now it's just PC. The 360 is just getting too old for me.

PC, then Ps3, then 360. I got burnt out on 360 playing at my friend's houses and when I look at one now I just kinda go "Eh."

Hoping my PC can handle this on full settings but we wait for Bethesda to release those specs............. Weird thing to say but I am hoping this game is so good that my graphics card can't handle it !!

I will do what I have always done since Morrowind, get it for the Xbox (Or Xbox 360 now) for the first couple of playthroughs. Then I will buy it for the computer to enjoy the mods, and to mod it myself. That's right Bethesda I am a svcker and I will probably spend alot of money on your games throughout my lifetime.

If I get around to upgrading my PC before Skyrim comes out I'll get it on PC, otherwise I'll take it for Xbox 360.

PC all the way. I feel sorry for console gamers since I don't think anyone can deny that these games can only truly have their potential unlocked on the PC. I'm planning on building a new comp over the summer, so I'll probably be able to play it at full quality.

Don't be ashamed of that! If you're going to give money to one developer, make it Bethesda I say! At least we know they put it to good use and don't go making stupid music games and the like!!!
