I would fix it because I use a PC.

Yeah this - I'd just go out and buy a replacement component and have it back up running again within 2 hours (including the time I spent on the bus getting to the nearest PC component retailer).

I voted for all of the above :P

On a more serious note: http://media.onsugar.com/files/2011/03/10/5/1484/14848225/f9/wonder_woman.gif towards my PC.

Not care, because my PS3 just plays Blu-Ray movies. Proceed to play Skyrim on my PC anyway.

You never said which system.

Buy it for PS3 if my 360 broke (or vice versa), if both break I'll buy it for my computer, my Mac ran Oblivion @ ultrahigh settings thanks to bootcamp.

I would die! :dead:

But if I were able to survive the shock, I would do whatever it takes to get a new one right away  --I would jump through a ring of fire, steal candy from a baby, and... yeah, no I wouldn't. I would cry, and if I could afford it, I would buy a new one.

By broken, I think he meant completely trashed and in no way fixable.

Even if my PC broke, I'd just use my second one. Or one of these laptops.

Ah. Then PCs don't break, so I'm still good.

Seems like a lot of people have disposable income, here.

Me? I have boxes of parts from previous builds as well as donations. I'll be playing Skyrim that night - whether anyone likes it or not.

I have two XBOX 360's. One is my primary 360. The other I use as a temporary replacement when I get the Red Ring of Death. And yes, I am completely serious.

Haha.. this actually happened to me once. My 5 year old Xbox 360 just couldn't hold up to the new game I got. I didn't flip out, I was just really frustrated. Now if this happened with Skyrim, I don't know what I'd do.

LOL fixing your PC would be an amazing idea. And to whoever said they would return it and get a copy for their pC....I don't think so. They would EASILY be sold out of every copy for every system at your local store. Unless you live in the middle of nowhere.

And thats why I use Steam. Seriously, there is a tiny little section in my local EB(Electronics Boutique, GameStop for Canada) for PC games. The rest of the store is dedicated to consoles.

I've never had a red ring of death on either my xbox or my xbox 360 and I got my xbox when it first came out and I got my 360 when it first came out. Guess I'm just lucky that I didn't get faulty hardware or other people don't take care of their xbox.
