At the moment it's the sniper rifle with the silencer mod

I've only come across a few unique weapons at this point and they're not weapons I would use.

The honest, if most munchkin-y answer, is the omnipotent silenced sniper rifle. But that's a boring, overpowered answer, so instead I'm going to say Lucky, wielded wearing the gunslinger 'tache.

Oh my, oh my. The options are limitless!

Lucky is probably the most badass and stylish weapons in the game.
Annabelle with all tiers of Demo Expert is the second coming of Jesus.
CZ57 Avenger makes me yell "GET SUM!" whenever I spin it up.
Q-35 Modulator makes you feel like a proper soldier of 2077.
Anti-Materiel is just... loud and arouses me when I fire it.

But if I must pick one... Ballistic Fist. Ka-pow-BAM.

The 12.7mm SMG, any gun that can chew up a deathclaw in under a second is a good gun, all other guns wont hunt a rabbit and they aint no friend of mine.

I wanted to like that gun so much, but it spreads wider then a Gomorrah prosttute :( never had luck with Deathclaws either.

I know, but you arent exactly going for headshots, i aim for the chest, center mass, and the spread will get me some limb and head shots along with heavy damage, it aint a sniper, it is a streetsweeper, i remember sneaking into the Dorrado and mowing down all the sleeping troopers as they tried, in vain, to get up from their beds, one clip, 4 dead soldiers in a row.

Annabelle isn't affected by Demolition Expert in vanilla. Might as well let you know now since you've been talking about those two together quite a bit. Edit: Of course, unless you're on PC and fixed it yourself, then I would agree with ya for the most part. Only trouble is I kill myself quite too often.

My pick: AER14. Green Lasers. I like it. The possibility of having 100% crit is just extra.

Trail Carbine with the scope mod installed and loaded with SWC rounds. The best universal weapon system in the game. Long range snipeing, Short ranged VATS, Deathclaws and Powder Gangers. The Trail Carbine does it all and no other weapon in the game comes close.

I'd say the fully modded Laser Rifle is the most modular weapons in Vegas, Trail Carbine a close second.

This Machine, of course. Alright for long range and take down a Deathclaw in 2 shots. Good fun going to Quarry junction and letting them jump before blowing their heads off.
And did I mention it's an M1 Garand? It'd be a real kick if there was a Nazi-channeling faction somewhere, I guess the Leigon is the closest to fascism.
The developers even got the 'ping' right!

the one i enjoyed the most was the huge club the nightkin use, what's it called? the one made from a chunk of concrete and steel girder,
as wielded by my heavy-handed pasty-faced ginger-headed ignoramus hick boozehound Ike Clanton.
i got so over confident with the thing at level 6 i reached vegas and just kept on running north, prancing across the terrain like i owned it, then about three deathclaws mashed me into the ground.
next time i go back to the game i think i'll roll 10 strength again just for that club.
