When I proposed to her It was a Friday after I been down pub real life. And I had bit if a smoke.
It was dark in game and she was wearing a hood.
Next day in real life and game I realise she is a disgusting looking dark elf.

Thought I'd posted here. I went with Aela. She was really feisty before we got married, but she's mellowed which is a bit disappointing. She's great as a companion though and brings in the gold. Yes, it's a happy marriage in my Breezhome.

Normally you can't but since you're only engaged, I don't know.

That's what happens in real life too though. Just be happy you proposed to a video game character and not a real person wearing a hood on the streets!

Either Ysolda, or Jordis. Only been through one dungeon with Jordis, it was a Dwemer ruin and she was just so excited the whole time!

Lydia was useless. I'd only been made Thane of Whiterun 5 minutes when we went off to mount Anthor and she succumbed to a dragon in seconds.

I haven't married anyone yet, but my first choice would have been Brelyna and if not Aela. But then I saw http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111114042823/elderscrolls/images/thumb/9/9e/Brelyna_%28without_hood%29.jpg/429px-Brelyna_%28without_hood%29.jpg and it seems that Aela has jumped to the first place... I also find it very saddening that orce women were made in such an ugly way in skyrim.
