File 2: La Mange. Assasin/Thief Khajiit. Only does things for people if they benefit him or his organizations. Not a very nice guy

1. Mange is masculine, so it would be "Le Mange"
2. Your name is "The Eat"?
PS if you meant to be "The Eater" it would have been "Le Mangeur"

Name: Ehrl
Race: Nord
Class: Nordic Templar (had the same race / class for main character in Oblivion = blade, heavy armor & willpower)

Skyrim:
Primarily Melee (dual one-handed swordsman) with Heavy Armor (is also a good armorer)
Supported with major use of Restoration & Destruction magics

Also uses Conjuration and Enchanting.

Sniper.

I have a female kitty who put all points in Sneak and Archery up until recently. She is level thirty with a 100 Sneak and 90 Archery and who has all but the very topmost perk in each of those skills.

I'm not sure how well the top Sneak perk will work if it means I have to stand up to then crouch down again to get distant enemies to then lose track of me. My style is to shoot, and if I can tell it will require a few arrows or there are several enemies, I then back up to hide in a dark place and then find a new perch to fire from. I can't get the topmost Archery perk until I hit 100. I recently put points into 1/5 of the initial One-Handed skill and the dual wielding skill.

I love this play style because I have to really think about placement and how to go about sniping a group of enemies because I am an absolute paper tiger if I mess up and find myself within melee range.

I can't get into the idea of playing around with ingredients, smithing or enchanting and so lack in those areas: that play style just bores me. My character is not really all that powerful and will encounter someone who requires many arrows in his side if I am detected.

Dark Elf Witchhunter

Skills perked:
-Archery
-Conjuration (for atronachs and bound bow)
-Destruction (rune spells, very tactical)
-Alteration (flesh armor, illumination, and detect life - also perks for magical resistance)
-Enchant

Uses sneak without perks, and wears mage robes.

I tend to end up as a witchhunter in all the elder scrolls games, and this is the closest one can get to recreating that class without the mysticism school of magic. if detect life were easier to obtain and/or available earlier on, it would be perfect, but as it is now, it's convenient having the armor spells and other utilities condensed into the same school/perk tree.

It's very fun and powerful, without being so strong as to eliminate challenge.

I had previously created a Khajiit pure stealth character, putting perks into sneak ONLY, and by the time i was level 25 i was an unstoppable, overpowered killing machine, able to sneak right in front of opponents and deliver multiple dual-dagger instant-kill attacks. If you're going to go down the sneak tree and still want to have a challenge, i recommend either skipping Assassin's Blade perk and working up the other branch up till Silence, OR taking Assassin's Blade but nothing past Muffled Movement, if that. So you'll either be a marginally effective sneak that can do devastating damage when it's possible to sneak up on something, or you'll be an exceptional sneak that isn't quite capable of one-shot killing sprees.

This sounds fun. Nice methods of perk selection. You seem to get a lot out of a character without spamming points mindlessly into perks.

Thanks, it is quite fun!

My general approach is to predetermine not only the 4-5 skills trees that I will focus on exclusively, but also how FAR into them that i will go. I've realized that the beauty of the perk system is that it allows you to develop a character up to the point that "feels right" for your own style of roleplay or gameplay. For instance, I don't take the perks to reduce the cost of Master level magic spells, at all; i already know i won't be using those spells based on wiki descriptions and youtube videos (slow casting time, too costly, etc) and it doesn't fit the concept of my character to be this godly, area of effect spamming caster. Also, i use bound bows and have perks in archery, but only a FEW perks... just 1/5 into the base damage increasing perk, and then up the left side of the tree stopping at the Stagger perk (skipping slow time, as well). It makes sense that my hybrid witchhunter wouldn't be a master of any one skill, just very good in a select few. I won't be using any Master level spells or abilities, and will take none of the 100 level perks in any tree.

Edit: this strategy will inevitably result in heavily stockpiled perk points as the "core build" reaches completion around level 20-25 or so. With those remaining points, I plan on pumping Enchanting (my utility/flavor skill) to the fullest.

1. Captain Crazy: Greatsword wielding, heavy armour clad warrior. Part-time blacksmith, full time werewolf. Prone to psychotic rages due to suffering from PTSD after all the death he's witnessed/caused.

2. Staboyo: Assassin Thief. Sociopathic knife for hire. Can use bows when the occasion calls for it.

3. Redmage: A redmage that dabbles in a little bit of everything except for archery. Moonlights as a travelling merchant. Avaricious but otherwise a halfway decent adventurer.

Dude Argonian/Werewolf still; good with destruction, one handed, and light armor. I'm starting to work on block and marksmen blocking is pretty legit in this one.

I went for a heavy armor, evil sorcerer/cleric (no weapons, ever) in Daedric armor. He ended up being quite different than I expected because of the horrible balance in this game...I wanted him to be more offensive but he ended up being like an evil D&D cleric tank (pure caster though), with heavy armor, wards, fire magic, heals and good crowd control... he never dies but he doesn't do the greatest damage. :meh:
