Considering that Crysis 3 is based about... 20 or so years after 2, wouldn't Gould still be alive at least? Have I missed something? My play-through I have not heard anything about him.

well one thing I noticed is the MP map Airport is actually named Gould Airport in tribute to him. Chance are he is dead, he seemed old around 40's at least in Crysis 2
