I was playing through Fallout 2 again for old time's sake and I was wondering whatever happened to the Shi? I'm pretty certain the ending in their favor would have been the direction that the lore went, and they are a strong isolated technological powerhouse like the Brotherhood. However, they had done things even like recreating nuclear power, the possibility of space travel, radiation resistant plants, create prototypes of vertibirds in a short period of time, new advanced weaponry and armor, and they invented a Jet antidote.

I just think it's weird there is no mention of them ever again. It seems like over a period of time despite being isolationalists they would still have some large influence in one of the games as the most advanced technological group, even surpassing the BoS and the Enclave in their levels of technology.
