Whats most popular?

Post » Sat Nov 13, 2010 7:40 pm

This is just to see what of these (or if yo selected other...then those) would be most popular. Apparently, to my sorrow, you can't make snow angels in Skyrim. Anyway, just explain why you chose the answer you did and why you woult rather that over the others. Then give your thoughts on how fun your choise might be and how it would be used, along with any additional comments you might have.

I choose fishing, it would be so cool if you could cook and eat the fish you caught, ot like, keep them in troughs or buckets as pets.

I picked leatherworking as I play stealthy characters and I'm hoping to be able to craft some cool and unique armour.

Forging will be really cool if it is more than just a gimmick, I would have also voted of the farming if I could have more than one option

I think fishing would be the most used activity, followed by woodcutting (depending on what that can be used for), and then mining. Cooking may also be pretty popular depending on what you can do with it, and some of these activities could easily run together.

Actually I don't think it has been officially confirmed. We've just discussed it a few times I think on the board.

Hard to say, but I think forging armor and weapons will be one of my main activities(outside quests and exploration of course).

If you can I would definitely fish, as long as it's no damn minigame where you need to pull up on the string in x seconds or fish disappears. I would like to just sit in a boat in first person and look at the surroundings and occasionally have a jerk on the line and watch my character pull a randomly generated fish out of the water. Maybe some interaction, Okami like interaction springs to mind.

EDIT: For those who never played Okami go out and buy it now! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i84a0Vr6M30&feature=related Watch the first 30 seconds and ignore the voice. Obviously without the Quick time event is what I'm suggesting.

yeah I like camping and leathermaking, I loved the fish people armour in morrowind, woulnd't mind being able to make orgehind armour, after washing it many times though. With camping, I talk about this in cooking but it would be a reason to not always fast travel and add abit of fun plus would be able to use the floor runes they went on about.
I also want my own herding place, because its fun to chase sheep, like how when I was playing OB no matter what I chased after wild deers for no reasons which annoys my friend who wants me to go through the gate instead. that way I would chase them for wool to make cloth instead.
