I bought it and played it some, and it might be me, it looks the same , though it looks brighter. Whats new in it? besides you can get mods.

Consoles got mod support, although on PS4 it's quite limited (no external assets). PC got 64-bit exe (much needed) and a modest graphical facelift.

That's it. There's absolutely no new content, mechanics, etc. Even the old bugs are still there.

I can't say about the PC version but on my Xbox it looks absolutely gorgeous. I've spent a ton of time just looking around. And having mods on Xbox now let me tweak the game to just how I want it.

That explains everything new.

Basically, there's just new shaders and subtle visual effects.

There's also a few more bushes from what I could tell. And torturer's hood is playable. :P

Yeah, I noticed a little more flora too. Some other minor little details too... like minor construction improvements in towns. Like better fence in Riverwood. I think? I wish they had done more like this, but the 64 bit is a good enough improvement in the longrun.

over all the improvements are fantastic

from all the work Bethesda has done. its the stuff that you cant see that makes the biggest difference......stability.....YES its a much more stable game compared to Legendary, the FO4 engine works perfectly

but its what you can see that has given Skyrim a new lease of life .........dynamic depth of field, better distant lods, god rays, close to ENB quality graphics ext

yes all the bugs may still be there but it would not be Skyrim if a cow did not fall out of the sky .........its the bugs that give this game a fun aspect,

the only down side is that you need a good PC to get the best Ultra quality ....or to use some +100 mods.....the minimal PC requirements given by Bethesda are incorrect and will bring your game to a halt using Ultra settings

if SSE was released 5 years ago no one would be able to play it .........the tech did not exist like processors that hit over 4.5 GHz or video cards that can run at insane speeds (well the tech did exist but you needed to be very rich to have it)

as for the new content ...........this one has a funny feeling there is a NEW DLC on the cards ..........(this is how rumors start .....giggles)

well if this one was CEO of Bethesda she would have listens to her loyal fans and would be getting something done about it, besides #6 is still 4-5 years away ........so the void has to be filled in some way or another
