Whats next for Brink?

Post » Thu May 12, 2011 11:06 am

I absoulutly love this game. It brings a whole new ball game to the FPS genre, unlike that repetitive strain injury that is COD.
BUT.... Whats next? i mean, ive already reached LvL 20 which took no more than say, 8-9 hours? and i really dont see the point in creating a new charater.
I am Addicted to this game but that can only last so long without an expansion packs or something? extra add-ons like new apparel/guns and maps/missions, even an extra 20 or so levels/ranks?
What do you guys/girls think?

They need to fix lag, then matchmaking, and then create a level editor = an excellent online gaming experience with infinite content.

See theres alot of people saying about this lag, but ive never had it. I heard it was only the xbox 360. I have ps3. And as for level editor well said, that would make sence considering the type of game it is. Still, the only thing thats always gonna be at the back of my mind is the leveling up, needs to be longer. like over 50-60 levels lol

I've not been having as much lag over past few days but it's still there in cases. What I want to see apart from fixes is more maps, weapons and possibly more customization but it should be free :D or at least a lot cheaper then other fps games some are like £12 per pack which I don't think SD should charge that much considering there's not as much content in the main game to begin with.

I think the lag on the 360 has become less prevalent because the players who were experiencing it have all left and traded their copies in at Gamestop already. I too want to see more levels and abilities with the new DLC because I got to 20 way too fast. Luckily I've been able to keep gaining experience because I'm reallocating ability points in pursuit of the various achievements. It'd be nice if they added more appearance options and weapons with the new maps too..
