Im on my first playthrough, and I was curiuos what kind of chracter you usually plays.
I thought it would be good if people could share their characters story and maye give a tip about RP
This isnt a "witch faction do you like the most", so please dont start the disscussion here.
Tell us about what your character do, what his "hobbies" ard where his favorite place is.

Name: Not important ( )
Work: Well, he trades and collects stuff he finds, but he is also known to get the "job" done. And with that I mean all jobs. His a real smooth talker, and like to solve problems without violance involved, but as I said, he does what he has to do.

Favorite weapon: On the strip he uses his pistol. He doenst like to be unarmed so he always have it with him on the casinos. Although his trusy hunter rifle is always on his back when he travels in the unforgiving desert.

Hobbies: Alcohol and caps. He is a alcoholic that always stops by the nearest bar to drink and talk. He also is crazy about caps, he doesnt really spend anything, he just have it. Its not that he is cheap. Its just that he rather uses another gun then buy new ammo for his "favorite".
So therefore he always have plenty of ammo. When he is wandering the Mojave, he loves listening to the radio.

Home: He doesnt have a home, or moore precise, Mojave is his home. He sleeps where the bed is availeble. Although he like Novac, becuse it have nice location and he have a free room there.

Personality; This guy is a lone wanderer, he dont have any companions or followers. Although, he likes good company and someone to talk to. This character is really special, becuse he fits everywhere. If you would spot him in the desert, you would problably think that he was somekind of cowboy type.
But when you see him on the strip, you see him as a total different guy. Tuxedo, sunglasses and a nice hat.

So, please share your characters story, doesnt have to be as long as mine, but I would like new ideas and I always enjoy a game moore when I can share my ideas and experiences with people

In other words... I am the Post-apoc adaption of the man that escaped a war camp, and walked 3000+ miles from Siberia to Germany of the course of three years during and after world war two.

(Me being an NCR prisoner, and walking from Hub to the Mojave... not quite as far, but still.)

Well I see that not everyone have the time to spend as long writing about his/her character as I have
@Boradam, So you characters doesnt really spend so much time on the trip, does he?

I made a ten page description of my third character (Pacifist.) and I spent an hour on it.

If I spend two hours, I can write a book for you!

I RP a lot here's some of my RPing chars. I also have another which I kinda set him up as a scavenger and that's my character that I use to randomly explore.

Name: Gnl. Hawk Age: 42 Race: Black
Bio: A cryogenically frozen general in Americas military. He was given orders to take control of the Mojave in the case that Enclave control wasn't present

Name: Giovanni Lazereth Age: 31 Race: White
Bio: Formerly a shop owner from New Reno, Giovanni is a mafia type character. Ge did a lot of business with the Salvatore family in Reno so when the Bishops took control he was forced to leave and seek out fortune in Cegas where he met Mr. House.

Name: Kage DeElephant Age: 21 Race: Asian
Bio: Kage was banished from his mercenary company for breaking policies about killing women and children. He set out to Vegas to join the Caesars Leigion as he knew they would appreciate his lack of mercy in combat.

My character is Justin, he's a smooth talker and clever guy, he's a bit snobby in terms of taste, ask him to live in a dumpy place like NoVac, and he's likely to tell you screw off and walk on to Vegas, he's Mr. House's utterly loyal agent. When not on a trip under Mr. Houses orders, he likes to sit in the Cocktail lounge and read books on philosophy and business. He's also the character in my Fan Fic in my sig. he's 20, and rapidly becoming more intelligent under Mr. House's tutelage.

Like this one time this NCR guy and his buddies we're talkin' about how they were wishing for a nuclear winter... and one of 'em shot a nasty look at me... So I made em 'esplode with this ray gun looking thing I found of this one kid in Freeside. It was hilarious!

My character is a Legion sniper. I think that's pretty cool.

My character is me (not given out my real name) basically with physical appearance (age, skin tone, face etc) as my Lone Wanderer from Fallout 3. He's basically a mercenary that is friendly to people he runs into. At day, he goes around the Mojave Wasteland to hunts for food when he's low on food rations and discover new places that he never seen before. On his trip, he usually runs into a bunch of [censor] that are itching to kill him. However they have two choice: Get shot or get their asses kicked. He will not stand down from a fight no matter what until that person is dead with holes in their chest from his LMG, missing a head from his modified Hunting Shotgun, heads blown of by a Anti-Materiel Rifle, or put a hole in their chest with a Ballistic Fist. At night, he sell whatever he finds from unwanted junk and spare guns for caps to buy more guns for his collection from the Gun Runners and go to the strip to put his stuff in one place then go to the casinos to get hammered until he passes out drunk or gets a hangover and wonder where all his caps that he had on him go.

My character is special because there is nothing special about him

Well, my second character was special. One intelligence. Yeah.

Was orphaned at a young age. Bounces from job to job, worked caravans, stood guard outside stores, became a courier, and he now does bounty hunting, along with many other odd jobs. He is ruthless towards his enemies, excellent with a gun, intelligent, perceptive, and articulate.

Names EAstwood, Clint Eastwood. Hobbies are killin, drinkin wiskey, bounty huntin, an prosttutes. I don't take [censored] from no one. I use my police gun mosly. But i'll use what ever I can. So if you feel lucky try me... punk

my character has a robot fetish

I play two characters. My main character from vault 101 is a not bos paladin who doesn't use addictive chems but drinks a lot, so a paladin with a drinking problem. She wanted to find out what shape the rest of the country was in and on the trip over met a wizened old unarmed specialist who was instrumental in her giving up being a sniper. She stayed as long as she could to learn as much of his unarmed style as she could. Her favourite place is Wolfhorn Ranch which she moved into. Starting work as a courier sounded perfect for learning what was going on in the Mojave. She has high science/medicine taking after her parents and switches between unarmed and shotgun.

Second character is really fun to play she's really dumb, loves Mr House because he's so smart, and she wants to be liked by everyone. She walks a tightrope of fame and infamy is constantly addicted to chems, also she's the only character who has had a comment on the consequences of her behaviour by Mr House. This one is unarmed and melee with very low science skill but a high charisma and black widow type. Her favourite weapon is Love and Hate.

Third is Ncr but that one is still in the planning stage

quick question: Does having a low intelligence give your a different dialogue when talking with Mr. House?

Unfortunately no, very disappointing imo.

Character type: Multi-role combat character, does not like to really interact with people as he's seriously anti-social (and just a -little- psychopathical). Prefers to settle things with his fists, or chainsaw, or Annabelle, or Gauss rifle.. etc.
Favorite Weapon: A few types, due to him being able to repair just about anything. Mostly big caliber, hard hitters like the ballistic fist or brush gun. He's not fussy. Whatever turns people into red mist.
Hobbies: Drinking and drugs, to numb his impulses. Also, murdering just about anyone around him. Woe be the lone caravan. Does not care about money, but has amassed enough to rival any merchant company.
Home: The Lucky 38, where he operates from. He hates sleeping in the desert and would rather take tobacco or the occasional Atomic Cocktail to keep awake.
Personality: Psychopath, has murderous tendencies towards everything. Will try getting along for the sake of not being found out, but when push comes to shove, he'd bring out the big guns and shoot first. (And no, he'd not ask questions later. They're dead.) Hates lugging around too many weapons/ammo/medium or heavy armor. He'd travel in his non-descript wanderer outfit, all the better to assilimilate his wolf self amongst the unknowing herd. Signature murders go by mutiliation/pulverisation.

I have two character that im gonna try after this. One disiplined legion soldier, I think i gonna call him Augostus or Julios.
And one who hates the Mojave and lives on the strip. Gamble, [censored]s, drugs, all that kind of stuff

Name: Pipi ( I have 3 going, Hope and Pipi on PC and Annie on PS3. I'll do Pipi.)
Work: She has INT1 and this often causes people to speak to her as if she's an idiot but she isn't. She's smart enough to do anything INT10 can do (with even fewer skill points) and she gets some funny dialogue besides.

Favorite weapon: She's EW all the way and loves the Q35 Matter Modulator and her completely modded Laser Rifle. When she uses guns, the Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle is a favorite since I've modded it back up to where it was on game release day.

Hobbies: She prefers it out in the desert but when she goes into New Vegas, she loves to gamble. She likes it quiet out in the desert so she can hear who might be creeping up on her...but then ED-E and Boone always take care of it before she has to worry about it.

Home: She's a wanderer and really appreciates it when she's provided shelter by people she's helped. The NCR Safe House is a favorite and she goes to it a lot since it's centrally located in the area.

Personality: She loves her companions and takes good care of them with the best armor and weapons. She knows they'll take good care of her by doing that. She likes companions who don't complain and who focus on the task at hand until it's done. She's anti-slavery to the core and is passionate to wipe it out. She believes people need to work together to take humanity forward again.

Lusen, I hope you enjoy your game...I'm off to Cyrodiil for a bit and then it's back to the Mojave!
