Whats the best armour for an assassin role? : V

I just got nightingale and it looks REALLY bad but i want a good assassin armor, any ideas?

Shrouded Armor. AKA Dark Brotherhood Armor. Looks pretty good.

Its way too "Oh look at me i'm gunna kill you with my fancy, sparkly costume"... in other words its too fancy

I play the Spelldagger/Assassin role, I use the Arch-Mage's robes, Shrouded gloves, and Shrouded boots, along with Marecki*'s mask.

If you didn't know, you have to do some questing for some of these items, but the story and rewards were extremely satisfying.

I agree with the OP. Nightingale armor looks ridiculous. I hate the cape, it completely ruins the outfit.

I'm also not a fan of the Nightingale armor. It's just unappealing to me.

But if you're a stealthy-dagger guy I suggest the shrouded armor
