Whats the craziest thing you ever witnessed first hand

Post » Tue Feb 18, 2014 3:19 pm

I was wondering today what could be the most incredible thing any one person has ever experienced or witnessed first hand. There is always something in the world minutes away or miles away that can be considered absolutely monumental of the time we are in.

Defining crazy is entirely up to you. Be it the intensity of the situation something like a tsunami striking a beach full of people, or something that is just absolutely atroious... like a homeless man eating baby poop out of a diaper as oatmeal.

I burned a pretty thick chunk of meat out of my forearm with a lighter one lovely whiskey ocasion. I did not feel a thing about it and would have kept going but something told me I should probably stop before i reach the other side.

My entire fireteam was running down a road, and a machinegun ravaged no massacred all 12 of them down, except myself. My cousin included.

Life never was the same after that.

I was sitting in the car around midnight waiting for a concert to end and, out of the side window to my right, I saw some old dude whip out his junk and take a leak on a van tire. Givin the way the area was illuminated by streetlights, he probably had no idea there was somebody in the car diagonally across from where he was standing that could witness the whole thing. Key word "could"

I was on a ski lift, and a guy was climbing up this huge hill. Normal, probably lost his skis up there or something... until I saw the bag of marijuana at the top of the hill.

Seeing a friend of mine (along with his family) being taken out of his house in body bags three houses down.

I've really never felt death like that before, so it hit me pretty hard.

I use to live in the Ghetto. And this is true as true can get. Walking from the nearest grocery store back home, in the alley, I saw some unsavory drug behavior going on. I ran as fast as I could so I would not get shot in some way or another.

Same Ghetto, saw some people hanging out in front of the liquor store drinking and getting into fights. This was me trying to get some Jam for my Peanut butter jam sandwiches, late at night. Never go looking for jam that late at night was the lesson I learned.

none of the craziest things i've seen were technically did not occur. but the most intense thing i have ever seen is seasonal waves on the coast of oahu, huge waves the size of houses but it was totally normal to every one else.

This thread makes me want to hug all of you.

I've seen a lot of crazy things, but the most recent one was immigration going to the house next to mine in the middle of the night and pulling out 150 people.

That house was a one bedroom house.

I don't need a hug. Years of alcohol dependency leaves a man's heart numb and broken, no need to feel anything booze takes over that. It just gives me the excuse to be a cynical, hispter [censored] to sound enlightened when I'm pathetically drunk.

On my way to work one day when I happened upon a wreck between a van and a Harley Davidson. The Harley lost, and the guy...spread eagle in the middle of the road. Yes, he had passed on.

Another time I was in Vegas, when my mother and I were on our way back to the hotel to retire for the night, when we happened upon a fellow who retired before us. I was so close to this fellow, I could reach out and touch him. Of course I didn't...have a little respect for the deceased.

I was riding the bus once, and looked out the window as we were leaving our stop... there as one homeless looking guy, being surrounded by about 15 others, who all started dropping fists on the guy... The driver wouldn't stop.

When I lived in Japan my Japanese girl friend spoke English but it was broken. She told me several times that she would go into trances every once in a while. I humored her by saying something like "oh really" but I never believed her.

One night in a park she went into one of her trances and her English suddenly became a lot better. When she came out of it her English went back to being broken again. When I told her what happened she was convinced I was pulling her leg.

I've seen quite a few crazy things. The most jarring (but probably not the "craziest") of them was probably seeing two people on a motorcycle collide head-on with a car from the window of my condo on the 17th floor. They were both launched off the bike like a catapult. The girl on the back landed on her head, wasn't wearing a helmet, and died instantly of massive head trauma (there was a LOT of blood). It's the most violently I've ever seen anyone die...I'll probably never forget it. The guy driving the bike (recklessly) was conscious when they put him in the ambulance. I'll bet he felt like an idiot when he found out what he'd done. Wear a helmet, kids.

Is that not standard concert parking lot behavior? :P I think after living in a college town for 6 years and then a big city for 13 it would be easier to make a list of the things I haven't seen someone pee or poop on in public.

I was sitting in the parking lot of a restaurant, waiting for a friend to finish work. A couple drunks came out and started making out leaning against a car 2 slots over. After a few minutes they climbed in the back seat for a little more action.

I watched. :hehe:

I was about 17 and walking over to a friends carrying a case of beer. On the way there I was of course drinking and walked past a house party of which a bunch of people I knew were at. All of a sudden two people I know run out into the street not 10 feet in front of me and start getting into one of the most vicious one sided pummelings I ever saw. After the guy was done beating up the other one he sees me and says 'Oh hey DarkSim didn't see you there.' He starts asking me if I'm friends with the guy and tells me why they got into it. I offer him a beer and tell him I had to get moving. This all happened in maybe a 3 minute span. I seen a lot of other crazy stuff but for the time it took for all that wtf to happen I'll never forget. Growing up in a crappy area I guess anyone can have stories like that.

Haven't had anything too crazy, at least not to the level you all had.

My crazy was me peeing in a one stall bathroom in a gas station joint, and because I forgot to lock the door, another dude comes in and starts wanting to have a friendly, normal chat with me. While I'm peeing. As if this were absolutely what everyone does.

Yeah, I lock the doors of every one stall bathroom when I'm using it from now on.
