The trailer already answered what I wanted; decent topography (something that both Morrowind and Oblivion were lacking).

It looks like they took a page from Gothic 3. In a very, very good way.

Psychic guards have to go, or at least just be, you know, a bit clever, rather than omniscient.

A working game that doesn't need an "unofficial patch".

Better AI and animation, it looks like we get more and better animations.

I had to vote for level scaling. Made oblivion a single play through game.. if you just play vanilla. Even though there could be several playthroughs with all the content and ways to play the game. The scaling just murdered it at certain point. Oh and the gates annoyed me.

Blocking without a shield! Seriously, the coolest moments of oblivion for me were playing a rouge character and dueling with people in dramtic locations, blocking, parrying, rolling and slashing with one sword. Whats the point of not being able to block if you have an empty left hand?

Sounds random, but theres been talk about it being removed...

Other:
I want to see the return of certain artifacts like Umbra, Goldbrand, Ebony Blade, etc

Next would be werewolves though.

1. Incredible and compelling stories with many that touch me deeply...great writing is most important.

2. A Large land mass to explore with a variety of atmospheres, cities, etc.

3. Love finding unique items or having them be rewards in quests.

The guards are a real nuisance after doing a quest where you have to kill someone and there is no guards near you and 2sec after killing "stop criminal scum!" it's like :banghead:

I guess the thing that bothered me most in Oblivion was the problems with level scaling. The attribute system is another thing that didn't work for me. I'd rather do what I want instead of focusing on skills I don't care about to get +5 for three attributes every time to perfectly level up.

More engaging quests and story, roles, npc's, guilds, dialogue.. you know the usual stuff that often gets overlooked these days.

at first i was having difficulty choosing since many of them are essential to me for an improved game. then i saw the better mod kit option and picked that one. most everything in the list minus the physics and a huge landmass can be done by modders so the easier it is for them the more quantity and higher the quality they will be. :)

I went with the landmass one.

Basically I want a huge and dynamic area that I can explore. I want the scenery and atmosphere of the province to capture and entrance me. I want to feel the snow under my boots as if it were really there, I want to feel the wind howling past as I push unwavering against it.

A place that feels big and daunting and breathtaking and beautiful. Thats what I want.

Now give it to me. When? Later?! NO! now!

So many interesting choices.

I picked the one dealing with well written, in-depth quests. This would be game enrichment throughout.

However, If I could have chosen two, I would have elected for the Survival mode as my 2nd choice. I really hope that is an option, at least.

I voted for better mod creation kit. Hopefully the creation kit is a GECK+++, seeing as I'll be spending tons of time in it :lmao:

My expectations were met by what I saw in the trailer, so the only thing I'm hoping for is more in-depth lore.

Also werewolves.
