The ability to throw potions!

I voted "other." What I want most is a great, lore-rich story.

Voted Other:

DIALOGS- I want to be able to ask people a little more than just "rumors". Thats the major reason that made me dislike Oblivion (Which forced me to play "mysterious, silent and somewhat troubled lunatics" in Oblivion)

I dunno, i want it to have that special "feel" that Morrowind has. Oblivion offered only shiny graphics and improved combat (and combat is least thing i care about)

But i really look forward for snowy landscapes :P

Such a hard choice! But since the technicals behind the character model is the only one of thous things that can't be modded in I go with the character model improvement :)

Other. I want the character's skills, abilities, and choices to be MEANINGFUL, not just a shallow FPS with shiny graphics and effects. Gameplay > Graphics. Give me the possibility of task failure if I try something too difficult, but the option not to overextend my abilities if I don't want to, unlike in MW where some of the task were "pass/fail" with no control, or in OB where there was no "fail" (if you can't fail, it's not a game). Risk and Reward need to be tied more closely. PLEASE, try to keep a bit more RP in this cRPG than the last one.

I can relate to the one post in favor of "mushrooms". Really, I DON'T want to see mushroom trees all over Skyrim; they don't fit the region, but the sense of WONDER that MW created was lost in the mundane forests of Cyrodiil. I want that feeling of WONDER when I wander.....

Other.

I want a completly beleivable world. One that isn't to compact but one that isn't too spread out and empty. I want Skyrim to be similar to where I live, Canada. Just the climate. I am also glad that they have done their own tree system. I want to see massive boreal forests, they are so beautiful. I want to see frozen lakes and ponds at the extreme north. That would be really great for me.

Depending on season the water could freeze... I know that is asking a lot, so I'm cool with a continually frozen lake.

Level-scaling that makes sense, please. If I'm a low level grunt then I should be wary while travelling and terrified of going into certain areas. If I'm a high level champion then toss me some low level enemies every now and then, so I can feel all powerful and mighty. If I venture into an area that's clearly beyond my level, I expect to be handsomely rewarded (not lettuce or forks) should I survive. Don't level-scale all loot, place some unique items according to the area's level, I've earned those things even if it's beyond or below my level. If I don't succeed in the first try, I will come back for revenge later. Make the enemies and items unique to the area, not my level, otherwise I have no real reason to explore.

A very large world that I can explore without having to bother with the main quest--glad to run throught it once, but after that I would like to start characters that totally ignore the main quest. Oblivion's main quest was irritatingly hard to ignore.

For me it's either Full Body Customization or heck just a better character creation mode.

I said weapons. Something like crossbows would be great (and perhaps appropriate for 200 years of technological advancement). Never really used Marksman too much in Oblivion because I was so bad with it, and it levels so slow (although I'm sure leveling skills will be far more balanced in Skyrim). But yeah, I'd like some more weapon variety. Also, I'd like different weapons to be distinctly better for different circumstances. Like a dagger can cut through an unarmored foe, but will hardly dent someone wearing something substantial.

Everything with the name "Radiant" in it, working perfectly and like it was always meant to be.

And a lot of replay-value.

Among the choices, I'd say a complex and backstabbing network of guilds. Involving multiple paths inside one guild quest, bonus/malus of disposition according to my faction, possibility of fake-joining a faction to undermine them, etc.

Also : crazy good looking landscape that'll just make me want to sit my char and watch for hours on end. But it looks like we're on the right track here. :D

None of those, an easely moddable game, without bug and stuff like that to slow modders down and that make modders require 300 self made utilities to try to make the modding managable.

OTHER:

I want more interesting exploration, with hand made (not procedurally generated, ala Oblivion) locations and dungeons, each telling a story, a taste of which we saw in FO3.

Ok....i picked hand to hand,with kicks,throws etc.
Speaking of which: i really hope hand to hand is improved alot,i want throws, counters, kicks etc.
There was a mod for this called "sephs hand to hand" or something,he did duel wield too....looked sweet, and shows it can be done,at that was the older engine.
Anyway some cracking stuff on that list was really hard to choose, but i had to pick something :)
Actually- does anyone know for sure if hand to hand is in skyrim?

Dual wielding small birds like sparrows. This is the most important feature they can implement. Also some wicked hand-to-hand stuff would be cool. I want to get a troll in a sweet hold and choke him out, but not kill him.

Moe diversity/variety in various parts of the game. Things that were lacking diversity in Oblivion were, churches (they looked the same in every city), Dungeons (exterior and interior), variations of the same creatures (individual goblins as well as other creatures all looked basically the same ), voice actors (already been addressed) and music (I'm pretty satisfied with Oblivions music, but area specific music could be implemented).

The single most important thing I want is replay value. It means the costumization is well done, the game is not too easy and not too hard, and most of all it′s fun.
IMO if the player enjoys the game more than once, it means it′s good.

An atmosphere less like Oblivion and more like Morrowind.Atmosphere is everything.

So I voted for Giant Mushrooms symbolically =D

Yeah thats kinda what i meant by giant mushrooms, a more alien-design. I figured people that wanted a more morrowind-esque landscape would vote for giant mushrooms.
